Hotels in Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area, Beijing

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

We stayed at this hotel as a group and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and we would happily recommend this hotel to other group travelers.

The front desk staff were very warm and helpful, and housekeeping was attentive. The room had all the amenities you could need, the bathroom was quite spacious with a great shower, and there was even a projector on the wall for watching movies at night. Overall, it was a very cozy and welcoming experience.

The room was clean and hygienic, the hotel front desk staff were very enthusiastic, and the room attendants cleaned meticulously. The kids loved it! It was excellent. The food at the nearby restaurant was also delicious. They even gave us a free late checkout to help us pack, which was very thoughtful of the hotel. The room facilities are very smart, and the children really enjoyed the intelligent features. It's a fantastic hotel. We'll definitely stay here again next time we come to Wangfujing, and it's super convenient for getting around! Very nice!

The location is unbeatable. It's incredibly convenient for city walks to all the main attractions, with Jingshan Park right next door and the Northeast Corner Tower just a stone's throw away. We even discovered the less-known Songzhu Temple nearby. Peking University Red Building and the Art Museum are just a few minutes' walk, and you can reach Dongsi and Longfu Temple in about 15 minutes. The Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City is also accessible within a 20-25 minute walk. The room facilities are a bit dated, but they were clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, especially the bellman who proactively helped with luggage and opened doors – excellent service! We booked a total of 5 nights, and when we needed hangers for drying clothes, the front desk readily provided them and even offered a drying rack, which was great. The hotel lobby has a thoughtful design with a charming old Beijing flavor. Breakfast was also delicious and varied. From the family room, you could even catch a glimpse of the Forbidden City's Corner Tower and the hutongs below. Overall, it was a very good experience!

· Location: Easy walking distance to Wangfujing – super central! Also walking distance to metro line 8. · Transport: Didi pickups are easy right at the lobby entrance. · Bathroom: Great water pressure for the shower, plus a bathtub in the toilet for relaxing soaks. · Cleanliness: Room was spotless and comfortable. · Noise: Slight soundproofing issues (could hear hallway noise), but not a dealbreaker. · Perks: Loved having Miniso and gift shops in the lobby - so convenient.

The hotel's location is right in the city center, very close to Metro Lines 3 and 7, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the main attractions. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and recommended local specialty snacks and supermarkets nearby. There were free cold drinks in the lobby, and room service was prompt and thorough. Before check-in, customer service even asked for our arrival time and turned on the air conditioning in the room in advance – so many thoughtful details! It was a very satisfying stay, definitely full marks!

This was the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. The room is very small, but there is a big and comfortable bed with 2 big pillows and a soft blanket. For 1 person this is perfect. The bathroom is also small, but it has everything you need. The cleaning lady comes everyday, and brings toilet paper and water, changes the towels. If you need anything, just ask. They are very helpful. The night receptionist was also so nice. I arrived so late, and left so early, but she helped me with my big and heavy luggage (there is no elevator, so her help meant a lot). She was very friendly, we talked more times, she was very patient with me and my poor Chinese, so I could practice speaking in Chinese. Very cheap and very good! I highly recommend it!!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel was spotless, and I loved that the disposable toothbrushes were already in the bathroom, no need to pick them up at the front desk. The room was spacious and well-designed. This is definitely my go-to hotel every time I visit Beijing! A special shout-out to the bathrobes and slippers – they were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was still mostly Western, and aside from the milk, everything was perfectly to my taste!

The hotel staff are extremely friendly. They took good care of us and we felt completely at ease. Thanks to them, we had an excellent stay. That said, the hotel is in need of renovation. For example, the shower head is very old and only sprays down onto your head, which makes it hard to wash properly. The air conditioning needs updating, and the balcony and fire escape stairs need to be renovated for safety reasons.
