The hotel is undergoing renovation so they closed their rooftop garden which is next to the reception (level8). Bear in mind that they have only one lift for accessing level 8.
Overall I chose this hotel because of their location at Wangfujing which is a premier location for exploring the central attractions such as (Tianmen/Palace), Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, etc. Buffet breakfast was delicious and good variety.
the staff is friendly, however I regret that my room has cigarette smells which I hated it the most. This could be the policy is not strictly applied for those guests next door smokes inside the room even though there is a signage for NON Smoking!
Don’t use google maps as it gives you wrong location. Instead, use the local app which is accurate.

It was raining when we arrived, and the handsome guy at the front desk immediately came out to help us with our luggage to the eighth floor for check-in. It was a bit disappointing that the rooftop was closed. However, the staff upgraded our room type. The lobby on the eighth floor also offers panoramic views of the Forbidden City.
