Hotels in East Second Ring Workers' Stadium Area, Beijing

For a solo traveller I think it’s a perfect stay: rather big rooms, very clean, the Taikooli shopping space across the road. Though if you’re travelling with a family might not be your thing

We loved this hotel! It was spotlessly clean, with stylish interiors and delicious food. There were plenty of options for both those who enjoy local cuisine and international guests looking for more familiar dishes. The location was excellent, with a Starbucks right nearby — a real bonus for us, as the coffee from local chains wasn’t quite to our taste. The Forbidden City was within walking distance, although we preferred wearing masks outside because of the air quality. Getting to Universal Studios by taxi took us around 40–50 minutes. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Good location for a short visit to Beijing. The airport express goes directly to the metro station near the hotel. Tours to Mutianyu Great Wall also depart from here. It's about a 10-minute walk from the metro to the hotel. There are shops, cafes, and a market nearby. The room is basic. The toilet and shower are in one very small space, but you can shower and there's hot water. The rooms are a bit worn, definitely a 3-star standard, but everything works. The staff is helpful and tries their best. They provided an iron upon request and showed us where the water dispenser was. Breakfast is Chinese style, but there's a good selection including toast, eggs, vegetables, fruits, and coffee.

Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were polite and professional, and I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was comfortable, making for a great stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Although there was a minor issue during my stay, the staff handled it sincerely and proactively. The service is commendable, and I would definitely prioritize staying here again for future trips.

The hotel's location is quite close to the subway station, within walking distance. It's also very near Workers' Stadium and The Box (also easily walkable). You can grab a shared bike to get there if you prefer. After a concert, you can walk back or take a shared bike. The room is a bit small, with a large bed and a bathroom right as you enter. There's air conditioning. It's fine for two girls to sleep comfortably. Overall, the hygiene is good, quite clean. For food delivery, you have to go downstairs to pick it up. It's a good spot for staying one night if you're attending a concert.

The room was clean and the location is very convenient. They provide slippers for the shower and room slippers too. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service, giving us a free upgrade of the room with windows along with a later 2pm check out time. The only minor issues were that you could smell faint smoke in the room or when your neighbors were smoking you could smell it too. The soundproofing was also not the best. Otherwise, great stay!

I chose the Holiday Inn Express Dongzhimen nearby when I came to Beijing Workers' Stadium for a concert. It's a 10-minute walk from the stadium, so it was great to just head back to the hotel and sleep after the show! 🌟 The hotel is conveniently located; from Beijing South Railway Station, you can take the subway directly to Workers' Stadium station. There are many great restaurants nearby, and Sanlitun is just ahead, making dining and shopping very convenient. 👍 The room was a bit small and the facilities were a bit old, but it was perfectly adequate, very clean, and had a nice view outside the window. It's amazing to have a small garden in Beijing, where every inch of land is so precious! 🥳 The hotel breakfast was also very good; the beef noodles were delicious! 😋

The room was spotless and well-maintained, with no musty smell. The hotel itself was very clean and hygienic, and the decor was quite comfortable. The front desk was also very accommodating, allowing us a late check-out, which was a nice personal touch. The hotel's location right next to the subway station made getting around incredibly convenient. They even gave us a small gift when we left, which was a lovely gesture. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The location is super convenient, and the room is clean and comfortable. I specifically requested a quiet room, and they thoughtfully arranged one further inside for me, with a great view outside the window! Just a few minutes walk to the subway entrance if you turn left when you go out.

The location is fantastic, just 200 meters from Sanlitun, and the subway entrance is right around the corner, making getting around super convenient. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but that's to be expected in such a prime location where every inch of space is precious.
