| Is Shi Le buried under the Buddha's seat? The founding date of Chong'an Temple is unknown. It was originally called Zhangba Temple in the early Tang Dynasty. In the first year of the Taiping Xingguo period of the Song Dynasty (976), it was renamed "Chong'an Temple." There is a local saying about Chong'an Temple: "Chong'an came first, then Lingchuan," which means that Lingchuan was named after Shi Le's tomb next to Chong'an Temple. According to historical records, Shi Le was buried at night in a mountain valley, and no one knew where he was buried. It is said that Shi Le was buried on the east side of the gate of Chong'an Temple in the northwest corner of Lingchuan County, and some say he was buried under the Buddha's seat in Chong'an Temple. Even the writer Hao Jing from Lingchuan wrote a poem: "The capital gate is long and the air is full of spirit, the hegemony of the Central Plains is rising.
