South Taihang 3 Days 2 Nights Hiking Gathering South Taihang is concentrated within Henan and separates Henan from Shanxi. During the hike, you will switch between Shanxi and Henan. Day 1: Shuangdi - Baodu Village (22 km, climb 800 meters) Shuangdi - Hongdoushan Grand Canyon - Mawu Village - Yixiantian - Baodu Village At Baodu Village, we paid 70 yuan per person for breakfast and dinner, a standard room, the farmhouse has Wi-Fi and hot water. Day 2: Baodu Village - Zhanggou (21-22 km, 8 km can be driven, climb around 500 meters) Baodu Village - Xiliansi - Wudeng Tunnel - Xiyagou - Zhanggou Xiliansi has a supply point where you can rest. Wudeng Tunnel requires a headlamp. Accommodation at Zhanggou is 70 yuan per person including breakfast and dinner. The accommodation environment is okay, with hot water and Wi-Fi. Day 3: Zhanggou - Hankou Village (about 21 km, climb 1100 meters) Zhanggou - Shiziling - Shiziling Inn - Wangmangling - Hankou Village There are no supply points along the way, so bring more water. The whole route has a lot of climbs, and the slope is quite steep when descending to Hankou Village. Remember to wear knee pads to protect your knees. 1.
