Hotels in Railway Station Area, Kunming

I was very satisfied with my stay. Although the location isn't super prominent, the bedding and towels were new, and the whole place was clean and bright. It had large screens on the windows, so ventilation was excellent. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too hard, and there were two types of pillows, which was perfect for my tired back and neck. The shower had great pressure and strong water flow – I didn't want to get out! The hotel upgraded my room, so I had a lot of space for just one person. I didn't book breakfast, but I did go down for coffee and two eggs and observed that it looked quite good, better than at other Ramadas I've stayed in, so it's worth considering. It's close to the north entrance/exit of Kunming Railway Station, which is convenient for high-speed rail. The subway is a bit far (the exit is on the south side of the station), but Kunming isn't that big, and taking a taxi to places like Green Lake, Dianchi Lake, or Dounan isn't expensive.

In contrast to the typically cramped city-center accommodations, the rooms here are remarkably spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing an ideal sanctuary to unpack and unwind. What truly elevates the stay, however, is the exceptional service. The entire team is polite, attentive, and deeply committed to guest satisfaction—with a special shoutout to the housekeeping staff, whose hard work and helpful attitude did not go unnoticed.

Very close to Kunming Station, you can walk there! The staff were also very enthusiastic. The room was a bit compact, and the breakfast was quite tasty. The only downsides were the serious traffic congestion at the entrance, the loud honking at night, and a slight smell of renovation.

Excellent, clean, and modern. The room was small and cozy and everything was clean. I enjoyed the small window view and bedside lights. Manager was super kind, gave me water while I waited during check -in. Staff was very nice too. Free laundry. Great location. 5minutes walk from north exit (train station). Also close to many restaurants, coffee shop, supermarket, and a local market area that sells toys for cheap. Hotel is in 6 building 14 floor. Thank you !! 😊

Conveniently located near Kunming Station and the subway, making it easy to get around on foot. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was changed for each new guest. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, and there was free parking and luggage storage available. Overall, it was quiet and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. It's a great choice whether you're visiting Kunming for leisure or business. The staff provided thoughtful service and patiently answered all my questions. The various convenient facilities made my trip hassle-free. All in all, the excellent value for money makes it a top choice for accommodation and worth coming back to.

Very close to Kunming Station, perfect for travelers catching an early train the next morning. It's quite good value for money. The hotel entrance is a bit small and not very noticeable, but they even upgraded our room for free.

Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were polite and friendly, responding quickly to any requests. The breakfast offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, all tasting great. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the environment at night is quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's perfect for both leisure and business trips. Overall, the experience was fantastic and highly recommended. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Service: The service was absolutely fantastic! I was experiencing altitude sickness when I arrived, and the lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful, assisting me with various adjustments. She even guided me late at night on how to order oxygen tank delivery (the small shop downstairs, run by non-hotel staff, sold them, but the owner was often absent, and prices weren't clearly marked, making purchases difficult). I was able to change my room if I wasn't satisfied and even got a free upgrade. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and tidy. Environment: There was a slight furniture smell inside, but it wasn't a big issue. The hotel's external location is right next to the train station, within walking distance of Kunming Railway Station. Facilities: The facilities were quite comprehensive, and the front desk staff did their best to accommodate requests.

The staff were warm, friendly, and patient in answering any questions I had. This is the first time I've ever written such a positive review for a hotel, and for good reason! Firstly, the hotel's service was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Secondly, the value for money was outstanding! For such an affordable price, the cleanliness was impeccable. I've traveled from Dali to Lijiang, then to Shangri-La, and now Kunming, and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. From a 5k-a-night Club Med in Lijiang to luxury wild hotels in Shangri-La, none have offered the level of cleanliness and comfortable service that this place did. I just quickly booked it on Ctrip after getting off the high-speed train, and I never expected such a delightful stay. Thirdly, I believe cleanliness is the most important factor when choosing a hotel, and this place truly excels. The comfortable bedding, along with the convenient wireless charging dock in the room and the XiaoDu AI speaker, were fantastic amenities. The hotel also offers breakfast. In short, I highly, highly recommend this hotel, especially for travelers arriving from Kunming Station! Super satisfied!
