Five-star praise! The experience of bringing a baby is particularly comfortable. The room was cleaned very clean, there was no smell, the space was spacious, the stroller was placed without pressure, the sound insulation effect was good, and the baby was not easy to be disturbed when sleeping. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the hot water is stable and sufficient. The front desk staff was gentle and courteous and checked in efficiently. The hotel is strategically located and conveniently located. The surrounding area is convenient for travel and complete living facilities. The overall quiet and livable, the health details are in place, it is very suitable for temporary stay with the baby, the room is also very design, and the price is very high.

Staying in a newly renovated hotel is just so comfortable! It's clean and tidy, and the family room is spacious enough, with one 1.8-meter bed and one 1.35-meter bed – it's hard to find a room like this. My two kids and I stayed there and it was super comfortable! The room was very quiet at night, and the blackout curtains were excellent; it was completely dark even during the day when closed. The hotel's environment fully matched the pictures shown online. Every staff member, including the cleaning aunties, was warm, polite, and provided thoughtful service – it was truly heartwarming! The breakfast was abundant, and the three stir-fried dishes in the hot food section were different every day and tasted great! We stayed for ten consecutive days and were satisfied every single day. The hotel's location is also excellent, in the old district of Wuhua, so nothing is far away! Behind it is the Kunming Zoo, which has a large, shady garden with lots of trees and many animals, plus some amusement park rides that the kids really enjoyed. The only minor flaw is: when room cleaning doesn't require changing the sheets, it would be great if the beds could still be made neatly. Guests who have had a long day would surely feel much better returning to a tidy room!

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's right by Wenglin Street, which has lots of great shops to explore, and Cuihu Park, so you can just wander around comfortably. The walls also have a lot of helpful tips and guides, which are really valuable. The rooms are relatively new and clean, but try to avoid rooms on the first floor. There's a chance you'll get the one right by the entrance, and you won't get a good night's sleep with people coming and going and chatting in the common area. After talking to the staff, we switched to an inner room, which was much better, although it was very damp. I'm not sure if it was because of the humid weather (like 'Huinantian'), but the floor was wet. Finally, and I can't stress this enough, **DO NOT** use the shampoo and conditioner provided by the hotel. I was lazy and didn't use my own shampoo, opting for theirs and even the conditioner. My hair immediately became super dry and tangled! It was fine again after I used my own shampoo later.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the Green Lake Hotel, and our entire family, including seniors and children, had an amazing experience staying here! The front desk staff, noticing we had elders and kids with us, proactively offered a complimentary upgrade to a room with a separate wet and dry area. This was incredibly convenient for the seniors to wash up and we didn't have to worry about the children slipping – full marks for attention to detail. The room was clean and elegant, with a historical street view outside the window, making for a very comfortable stay. To our pleasant surprise, the Chinese meal included in the Ctrip package was incredibly rich and varied. From specialty appetizers to delicate dim sum, every dish showed great care and thought. The service staff at the Chinese restaurant were exceptionally warm and enthusiastic, smiling throughout and providing meticulous care. The pick-up driver was polite and the check-in process at the front desk was efficient and friendly. Everything truly made us feel at home. Even more heartwarming, the hotel prepared a generous welcome gift for the children, who were absolutely thrilled. This thoughtful gesture deeply touched our whole family. As a 70-year-old established state guest house, it certainly lives up to its profound heritage. This stay was both comfortable and memorable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling with family. We will definitely choose Green Lake Hotel again on our next visit to Kunming! And a special thanks again to the driver who helped us rush to catch our high-speed train – everything was perfect!

The first night in Yunnan, this hotel is conveniently located. There are many foods nearby. It is very close to the old street. The decoration is super beautiful. There is also a projector. Pros: Great Location: 5-minute walk to the lake, and 20 minutes to Kunming Old Street, 30 mins taxi to airport. But you need to take luggage to walk 1 min from the small alley Amenities: Hot water with strong water pressure—great for a refreshing shower. Bed come with heater. Cons: Smoke Smell in Room: Room had a noticeable smell of smoke, which was unpleasant. Amenities: no smart toilet bowl, no air cond/ heater Price: Could be a better value if the room rate was lower and the smoke smell issue was addressed.

I snagged a special offer for 200 yuan a night. I was a bit worried about this older 4-star hotel being run-down, especially after seeing some negative reviews mentioning that, but I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room! First off, there was absolutely no strange odor! Usually, older hotels like this have rooms steeped in cigarette smoke, but not this one! The room was also very tidy and clean, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. They provided an incredible amount of bottled water! I've never seen a hotel so generous with water before, which I really appreciated. Two of us couldn't even finish it all in two days. The kettle was also quite clean with no scale. I immediately extended my stay. This price and location are truly a steal – it's convenient to get anywhere, and there are eateries, fruit stands, and a supermarket in the alley next door. I'm extremely satisfied! The only minor drawbacks were that the trash bin outside hadn't been emptied when I checked in – perhaps an oversight during cleaning. Also, the shower door had a slight issue and didn't close properly, causing water to splash outside when showering. It would be great if they could fix that promptly. All in all, I'm very happy with my stay for this price 👍🏻

The twin room was located on the side of the room, making it very quiet. The beds were significantly larger than the double beds. The staff were very patient and accommodating to our needs each time. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, and it's also very affordable! Recommended.

I have traveled to Kunming many times and visited all the famous attractions. This time I returned to Kunming, and I especially wanted to visit the former site of the Southwest Associated University and the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall. These two schools have produced numerous talents, many of whom are the backbone of the Chinese nation! Worth a look! Our hotel is located between the two schools, with convenient transportation, convenient and diverse food, warm service, and cheap prices. It is one of the most cost-effective hotels nearby.
