This is an international youth hostel, and there are indeed many foreigners here. The common areas have a great vibe, and the food and drinks are very affordable. It's super convenient, just a 2-minute walk to the East Gate of Cuihu Lake. If I could, I'd love to book it for two months next summer! Oh, a friendly heads-up: the room type I booked doesn't have air conditioning, only a fan. But it was quite cool, so the fan was perfectly fine. I stayed in room 506; the bed was very soft, the shower had good pressure and heated up quickly. The toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and shower gel were all good, and the toilet paper was quite thick. The only minor drawback was that the electric fan was a bit noisy. My friend stayed in 606; their water pressure was slightly lower, but the fan was silent, though the bed was a little firmer. Overall, I'm very satisfied! The washing machine and dryer are also a nice touch. All the staff speak English. While it's called a youth hostel, there are actually people of all age groups staying here.

The hygiene is impeccable; everything is clean and fresh. The overall living atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Before coming to Kunming, I compared many hotels and had initially booked another one, but I changed it to this hotel at the last minute the day before check-in. On the day of arrival, my flight landed early, so I reached the hotel around 10:00 AM. The front desk was very considerate and helped us check into a room that had been cleaned early! It's also super convenient for exploring nearby attractions; Cuihu Lake, Wenlin Street, Huangongdong Street, and Yunnan University are all within walking distance. Plus, downstairs there are restaurants, snack bars, coffee shops, fruit stores, and even hair salons – it couldn't be more convenient! As for the hotel facilities and service, on the first day, the front desk lady gave us some delicious fresh flower cakes. The hotel room was clean, breakfast was good, and there was even a late-night snack service. The restaurant on the 19th floor has great views, and on the 20th floor, there's a swimming pool terrace with a fantastic view. If it hadn't been a bit cold at night, I definitely would have gone for a swim. When we left on the third day, they even gave us a souvenir – the service was truly excellent! Oh, and I was initially worried about the soundproofing, but after 10 PM, most of the shops downstairs close and traffic lessens, so it was very quiet at night for sleeping! So I'm more than happy to give a good review, and I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I visit!

You can tell this is an older, star-rated hotel, but it clearly hasn't been updated and feels a bit dated. We booked a family room, which was a suite with two bathrooms and three sinks. The room was super spacious, but the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable and made noise constantly. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was in an awkward spot, and there was nowhere to dry clothes. The breakfast quality was average; the selection wasn't huge, but they had the basics. The location is truly excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Cuihu Lake, and it's also very convenient for getting to the old town. It's very close to Panjiayao Metro Station. The service was very good, and the staff were all enthusiastic.

The location is fantastic! It's only a five-minute walk to Cuihu Lake if you take the small alley next to the hotel. The facilities are very comprehensive, and it's so convenient that you can even pop back to the hotel for a rest if you get tired sightseeing during the day.

This hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right next to Cuihu Park, literally just steps away. You can walk to Yunnan University and Kunming Old Street in just a few minutes. The hotel is a bit older but very well-maintained and comfortable. Breakfast is definitely a highlight, with a wide selection of Chinese, Western, and local Yunnan specialties. The freshly cooked rice noodles are amazing, and their French pastries are also a signature item. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming!

Front desk staff were responsive and friendly. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. They also patiently offered great tips for local attractions and where to buy specialties, and were quick to resolve any issues. Overall, the value for money is excellent. Staying here saves a lot of travel time, and I'd definitely prioritize this hotel again on my next trip to Kunming.

On the bright side, the bed in our room was very clean, easily one of the cleanest beds we've slept in during our Yunnan trip!
