Allwetterzoo Munster

Allwetterzoo Munster is a fantastic zoo that balances animal viewing with a comfortable experience. It houses a wide variety of animals, including mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles from all over the world. It features a dedicated tropical greenhouse, the Meranti-Halle, which simulates a rainforest ecosystem with aquatic animals, arboreal animals, and tropical plants, making you feel as if you are in an exotic jungle. There are also impressive exhibits for large animals, such as the elephant house, gibbons, and chimpanzees. The zoo features many covered walkways and structures to provide shelter from wind, rain, or strong sunlight. Many animal exhibits are designed as indoor or semi-indoor spaces, allowing you to see the animals even in bad weather. Additionally, it offers many interactive experiences, such as watching animal feedings, elephant feedings, walking with penguins, and small animal exhibits where you can get up close to pet sheep and goats. Facilities like the children's play areas and the horse farm also make the visit more enjoyable.
