Located on the outskirts of The Hague, the Peace Palace is a landmark building in The Hague and is home to the International Law Library and the International Law School. The Peace Palace was built between 1907 and 1913 to show its importance in settling disputes and maintaining world peace. Some of the gates, decorations and furniture in the Peace Palace were donated by various countries. The outer wall of the Peace Palace is brick red. It is a two-story palace-style building. The front facade consists of 9 arches. The Gothic towers on both sides are particularly conspicuous. The west tower is a taller building nearby, surrounded by green trees. Surrounded by peace and quiet. The vaulted hall on the ground floor is built in marble, decorated with golden reliefs, and the floor pattern is composed of cream and light blue marble. In the center of the main corridor in the middle of the hall is a stone statue of the goddess of justice, which was donated by the United States. Behind the stone statue are seven floor-to-ceiling windows inlaid with stained glass, which are more holy when the sun shines.Scheveningen · 1.8km from downtown

Located in the center of The Hague, the Queen's Palace is one of the important offices of the Dutch royal family. Although the palace itself is not open to the public, its elegant architectural style and surrounding environment still attract many tourists. The white facade of the palace contrasts with the surrounding green space, becoming a beautiful landscape in the city of The Hague. Festivals are occasionally held here, and if you see the Dutch flag raised on the roof of the palace, it means that the queen is here. Tourists can stroll in the square in front of the Queen's Palace, admire the appearance of the palace, and enjoy a leisurely time in the nearby Nordende Park. The park is lined with green trees and is an ideal place for walking and picnics. In addition, the Queen's Palace is ideally located within walking distance of other major attractions in The Hague. Scheveningen is a well-known seaside resort in the Netherlands. Along the seaside are luxury hotels and restaurants, Hague cafes, gift shops and amusement parks, allowing tourists to fully enjoy a comfortable leisure life. The sea here is cool even in the hot summer, so most people sunbathe. Different from the usual busy beaches, everything at Scheveningen Beach is so casual and comfortable. Occasionally, you can see a mighty female mounted policeman riding a tall horse, adding a lot of color to the leisurely atmosphere. Another face of this seaside resort is its music and sports activities, breath-taking fireworks (fireworks displays are held every August weekend), splendid live music and a vibrant nightlife.Scheveningen · 2.1km from downtown

The cube houses are like huge Rubik's cubes, which are arranged obliquely with each other. The unique shape is undoubtedly a classic landmark building in Rotterdam. Historical Background The cube house was built in 1984 and designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom. The whole building is connected by 40 square houses inclined at 45°, which is an earlier cube-shaped house in the Netherlands. Design concept Blom believes that his design is like an abstract tree, and all the houses are combined into a forest. Has a strong visual effect. The cube house is reminiscent of a tree house that can be accessed through pillars. The entire building is actually a pedestrian bridge across the street. In a sense, the cube house is an architectural experiment in which Blom thinks about form, aesthetics and spatial effects, rather than for functional and practical purposes.Rotterdam · 21.2km from Hague

The wishing tree at the entrance of the Peace Palace has a Japanese style and is very close to the concept of the International Court of Justice. It is a relatively political attraction. Perhaps only people of a certain age like me will come here.

During the few days in The Hague, I stayed by the beach and came to walk on the sea from time to time to watch the sunset. It was very beautiful to watch the sun set slowly. There were not many people at night in June, so it was especially suitable for couples to take a walk together.

Taking this bus to Keukenhof Park to see the flowers is extremely convenient; the boarding point was easily found by following the map. The park is so beautiful in spring! The blooming tulips 🌷 and various other flowers 🌼🌹 are dazzling and vibrant in the sunlight; one day isn't enough to see them all! 🥰

The Hague Square is located in the city center, not far from the Central Station, and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk there. The square is not big, but the Parliament Building and the Knight Building are nearby, so you can start from the square and then go to other attractions.

At the Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands, I was on the scene in Rembrandt's prime time, witnessed the open restoration of "The Night Watch," encountered Vermeer, and came across exquisite Delftware. I was deeply moved by the art of the Dutch Golden Age.
