This Unitel 5G eSIM was an absolute lifesaver for my journey through Laos. Setting it up was incredibly straightforward; I simply scanned the QR code provided in the booking email and the profile installed instantly. Once I landed, I just switched on my data roaming and connected to the Unitel network right away. Since Unitel is known for having the widest nationwide reach, I had incredibly stable 4G and 5G coverage not just in Vientiane, but also during longer transit routes and while exploring more remote areas. The data speeds were consistently fast enough for seamless map navigation, social media updates, and video calls back home. Skipping the hassle of queuing for a physical SIM card at the airport made the start of the trip so much smoother. I will definitely be repurchasing this on Trip.com for my next visit.★

I had only ever used roaming networks like dtac and truemove purchased from Naver in Korea, so this was my first time using an AIS local SIM card. The only downside is that, unlike other roaming products, you have to register your passport, but the communication quality is excellent, so if I visit Thailand again, I plan to purchase this product.
