Reviews: Kobe Port + Ijinkan Street Scenery + Mt. Rokko Night View + Arima Onsen one-day tour

I took a vacation to Osaka and joined a Kobe day trip on Ctrip. We departed from Nipponbashi at noon, and our group of six, led by driver Cai, visited Kobe Port, the Ijinkan (Foreigners' House), Arima Onsen, and the night view of Rokko Mountain and Osaka Bay. Personally, I didn't think the Ijinkan was worth seeing, but the other attractions were quite nice and worth visiting. A special shout-out to our driver, Mr. Cai, for his kindness and politeness; I wish him all the best for his future and great success!

I was very satisfied with this Kobe day trip, and a special thank you to our guide, Cave! He was extremely attentive and responsible throughout the trip, not only being punctual and well-organized in his arrangements, but also thoughtfully reminding everyone of meeting times and important details, ensuring a smooth journey. He also shared a lot of information about Kobe, Japanese culture, and attractions, making the trip not only sightseeing but also educational.

Everything ran smoothly from pickup to drop off. Our guide Gary was very organized and helpful. He gave us a lot of information and history. There was enough time at each stop to enjoy the sights.

It’s always a challenge finding tours that accomodate (celebrate) an octogenarian wanting to experience Japan (travelling with my husband and my 88 years young Mother)… the weather may have been cool & drizzly but Kevin was warm & such a bright spark! We really enjoyed our day wandering the Kobe gardens & hills… a soak in the hot springs & a lemon gelati were the perfect afternoon delight. Pre trip communication was fantastic. Thank you for helping to make my birthday a rather memorable one!
Reviews: 1-Day Tour for Good Fortune: Katsuo-ji + Sanda Premium Outlets + Arima Onsen Town|Small group (9 people)

It was a pretty good day trip overall. The main reason I wanted to visit the Kobe outlet mall was to do some shopping. The staff coordinating the day trip were very efficient and clear in their communication during the initial contact phase. I didn't have high expectations for Katsuo-ji Temple, but it was actually quite amazing and unique. The sunshine was also great that day, making for beautiful photos. The time allotted for Arima Onsen was a bit awkward; the time for soaking in the hot springs was too limited, so I skipped it. Buying some souvenirs at the nearby shops was still worthwhile. Kobe Harbor is quite spacious, but the sun was strong, and the harbor was very sunny. Overall, it was a good trip and I would recommend it.
Reviews: Osaka to Kobe Day Trip: Cup Noodle DIY, Arima Onsen, Mt. Rokko Observatory, Meriken Park, Kobe Mosaic

It was the best choice for our trip to Japan! Making my own cup ramen at the Osaka Cup Ramen Museum was fun, and I was able to learn a little about Japan's past through the exhibits. Also, Arima Village was perfect for showing my daughter, who said Osaka felt too much like Korea, a side of Japan unique to her. The Japanese-style architecture, scenery, and delicious restaurants—there wasn't a single thing to miss. The view of Osaka and Kobe from Mt. Rokko, along with Kobe's magnificent towers, cruise ships, and great restaurants, made for a perfect trip. Guide Jo's explanations and essential restaurant recommendations throughout the tour also helped us make good use of our time!
