Buy it – no problem. It's much cheaper than buying a 50GB SIM card in Phuket for 10-15 days for 500-800 baht. If you specifically need a Thai number for phone calls, buy a local SIM card. This e-SIM is roaming-compatible, meaning banks that require geolocation for online payments will be confused: you logged in and paid from "Singapore" (because this e-SIM is roaming-compatible), but the payments are made in Thailand. Important for Belarusians – they can block the banking app and access to your account. This e-SIM only provides data, no calls or SMS. Life hack: leave SMS roaming and calls on your original SIM card, and configure the internet connection settings for this e-SIM. Be careful.★
