Oscar, our guide, was excellent in both English and Chinese, providing detailed explanations and taking care of everyone in the group! The overall itinerary was well-paced, with a well-planned route that made the trip enjoyable without being tiring. The guide led us through the interior and exterior of Nijo Castle. In Arashiyama, he guided us to the entrance of the bamboo grove; at Kinkaku-ji and Fushimi Inari, he led us to the entrance of the scenic area, explaining the route, time, and pick-up point. It was fantastic! Although we booked a 46-person group due to the heat, it was actually a small group with a guide and driver. Excellent value for money, great value for money, and very convenient to get on and off at Kyoto Station. Thank you! We also met another guide, Gao, plus a very knowledgeable international student! He helped take care of the Chinese-speaking tourists in the group and took photos for us. Thank you! My husband got along very well with him.

After Universal Studios, it's really difficult to transfer and change accommodations on your own. This time, we hired a private car to take us to our Airbnb, and my family loved it! 👍 We had a private car service, and we didn't have to worry about our luggage. The driver was also very nice 👍 He even waited until we got the keys from our Airbnb before leaving. I highly recommend booking a private car back to your accommodation after Universal Studios, especially for parents with children!

I was very satisfied with this trip to Katsuo-ji Temple! March and April are the perfect time for spring, with beautiful scenery. The itinerary was well-planned and efficient, without being rushed. The tour guide was professional and enthusiastic, providing detailed explanations that allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Katsuo-ji Temple. Overall, the experience was relaxed and enjoyable.

For the direct train between Kyoto and Kansai Airport, it's recommended to buy e-tickets. You can activate the ticket directly on your phone without needing to exchange it on-site. You can change train/seat an unlimited number of times before boarding, which is very convenient. One phone can be linked to multiple e-tickets to help fellow passengers swipe their tickets at the station, but it can be a bit cumbersome, as you have to activate each ticket one by one and confirm that each ticket has been successfully swiped.

It was a pretty good day trip overall. The main reason I wanted to visit the Kobe outlet mall was to do some shopping. The staff coordinating the day trip were very efficient and clear in their communication during the initial contact phase. I didn't have high expectations for Katsuo-ji Temple, but it was actually quite amazing and unique. The sunshine was also great that day, making for beautiful photos. The time allotted for Arima Onsen was a bit awkward; the time for soaking in the hot springs was too limited, so I skipped it. Buying some souvenirs at the nearby shops was still worthwhile. Kobe Harbor is quite spacious, but the sun was strong, and the harbor was very sunny. Overall, it was a good trip and I would recommend it.
