Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyoto, Nara and Uji | Nara Park, Byodoin Temple, Fushimi Inari and Tōdai-ji
Guest User2026-08-31
It was rare to find a tour departing from Kyoto that also included Uji and Nara, saving me the hassle of finding my own way around, and the price was very reasonable! They even run during the off-season, so there were fewer people, and some of the tour members spoke English. But our guide, Cali, took excellent care of everyone, explaining things to the Chinese-speaking members once and then to the English-speaking members, basically providing introductions throughout the entire trip. She answered random questions from passengers fluently in both Chinese and English (I initially thought she spoke ABCs, then JBCs, but it turned out she spoke all the languages she had learned…). When I had a minor health issue at one point, Cali responded promptly and helped me out – so heartwarming! The driver had a great smile and proactively helped me with my luggage.
Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyoto, Arashiyama & Nara - bamboo forest path + Togetsukyō Bridge + Fushimi Inari + Nara Park

The tour guide was professional and considerate, providing engaging commentary throughout and even helping us avoid peak tourist seasons. The itinerary was well-planned, with ample time spent at each attraction. Arashiyama was picturesque, with tranquil bamboo paths and shimmering blue waters beneath Togetsukyo Bridge; every snapshot was postcard-perfect, so therapeutic! `(*∩_∩*)′
Reviews: Osaka departure [lazy route] Nara deer interaction + Uji matcha tasting + Japanese-style healing
Guest User2026-08-17
"A fantastic day trip! The itinerary was well-paced, covering classic sights without feeling rushed. The deer in Nara were even cuter than I imagined, and the matcha and slow pace of Uji were instantly soothing. I especially want to praise our guide and driver, Nick Lee, who was very funny and explained a lot of things along the way. I would definitely consider this company again next time I'm in Kansai!"
Reviews: 1-day tour from Osaka to the twin ancient capitals of Kyoto and Nara, featuring adorable deer, Fushimi Inari Taisha, and the Arashiyama scenic train

This was my first time joining a 1-day tour, and our guide, Ellen Wang, was extremely responsible. Before each attraction, she provided a detailed explanation of its history and origins, and she also sent the meeting time and location to each member's phone. She also recommended some local restaurants near the attractions. In addition, the driver was very skilled, and the ride was not bumpy at all. This was a great experience, and I would definitely join again if I had the chance!
