Using data was convenient during my trip to Thailand. It was easy to install the eSIM without having to replace the SIM card, and it was great for using travel-related features such as Google Maps and internet searches.

Whenever I traveled abroad, I always struggled with whether to pick up a physical SIM card at the airport or use roaming. For my recent trip to Thailand, I decided to try a Thai eSIM plan that offers a total of 15GB of data over 7 days. To start with the conclusion, I was so satisfied that I wondered why I hadn't used an eSIM sooner, and I plan to stick with this product for all future overseas trips. First of all, what I liked most was how surprisingly simple the issuance and installation process was. The installation guide page received after payment was organized in an easy-to-understand format, allowing even first-time users to register in just one minute. It was incredibly convenient that, in addition to the basic QR code scanning method, detailed manual input codes were provided for both iPhone and Android devices to handle situations where scanning a QR code with another device is difficult. In particular, since it even supported a 'Direct Installation' link that allows for immediate setup with a single click on both models, I was able to easily complete the registration at home before departure by simply connecting to Wi-Fi. The fact that there is no risk of losing my existing Korean SIM card and that I can simultaneously check important text messages and calls coming to my Korean number is a huge advantage that cannot be compared to a physical SIM. As soon as I arrived in Thailand and disabled airplane mode, I was able to connect to the internet seamlessly right away, without any complicated APN settings. Thanks to the generous 15GB total data allowance over 7 days, I was able to use ride-hailing apps like Grab and Bolt, Google Maps for directions, search for restaurants, and upload photos and videos to social media without worrying about data usage throughout my trip. Unlike frustrating plans where speeds are throttled after even slight usage due to daily limits, being able to use data freely within the 15GB limit allowed me to experience fast, uninterrupted speeds everywhere, from the city center to crowded night markets. Furthermore, this package provided not only data but also a local phone number, doubling its utility. I highly recommend this SIM card! I will only be using this service from now on.★
