I toured Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Yoshino in a single day using the Kintetsu Rail Pass. While it is excellent for saving money, there have been instances where QR code entry did not work at unmanned stations on the outskirts of the city, so I recommend that beginners use it at major stations or within the city. Also, please be aware that the response from the station staff at Kashihara-jingumae is terrible if any issues arise.
