This was my first time buying an eSIM on TripAdvisor. I spent seven days in Kyoto and had a great experience with smooth network connectivity. The signal was weak in the mountains, but worked perfectly in the city. I'm not a heavy internet user; I don't watch videos all the time, mostly using maps and Gemini. I also used my own Wi-Fi at the hotel, and I think 5GB a day is more than enough.

Easy to install. Convenient to use. Good signal. Works well even in many places. There is a link to check how much you have used. Recommended. No need to put in a SIM card, it's a hassle.

Personally, I use a Vivo X300, and it's very easy to use. Just scan the QR code before boarding in Thailand to use the internet and retrieve eSIM information. Once landing, simply activate it as usual and it connects to the internet without needing any further settings.

The signal is unstable. After watching videos for a while each day, the signal becomes extremely slow, and even mobile payment functions become unusable.
