Kinderdijk Windmills is one of the most representative cultural landscapes in the Netherlands, located in South Holland province and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This attraction not only showcases the country's unique water management technology and windmill culture but also offers visitors an excellent opportunity to explore nature and history. The windmill complex consists of 19 windmills built in the 18th century for drainage and flood control, still preserving their original appearance. Visitors can stroll along the paths between the windmills, admire the magnificent views of these ancient structures, and learn about their significant role in Dutch history. Some windmills are open to the public, allowing visitors to enter and observe their intricate mechanical systems while experiencing the daily work of a miller. In addition to windmills, the attraction also features a museum and visitor center, offering extensive historical materials and interactive exhibits to help visitors gain a deeper understanding of Dutch water management and windmill technology. For visitors who enjoy outdoor activities, this is also an ideal place for riding and hiking, where you can follow the canals and green spaces to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of nature. This is not just a sightseeing destination, but also a place of education and inspiration, where every visitor can experience the wisdom and perseverance of the Dutch people in their battle against water. Whether you're a history enthusiast, nature lover, or family traveler, this place offers a rich and unforgettable experience for all.Kinderdijk · 11.5km from Rotterdam

European porcelain first appeared in the 13th century. In the 16th century, Marco Polo shipped a large amount of ceramics from China to Lisbon, Portugal. Porcelain products soon became popular in Europe. Porcelain factories began to appear in cities and towns in some countries. The Royal Delft Blue Pottery Factory was established on the basis of the enthusiasm of European porcelain. The Royal Delft Blue Pottery Factory was founded in 1653. Its original name was just the Delft Blue Pottery Factory. At the beginning, most of its products were blue made of local Delft clay. ceramic tile. At that time, ceramic production was not enough in Europe. In addition to blue tiles, the Delft Blue Pottery Factory also imitated porcelain from China and made many porcelain with European elements. The factory's ceramic products quickly swept Europe. . So some Europeans have always thought that porcelain originated in the Netherlands. The Delft Blue Pottery Factory has long produced custom tableware for the Dutch royal family. In 1919, it was authorized to be named "Royal" in the company name, and its status was officially confirmed by the Dutch government and officials. The Royal Delft Blue Pottery Factory also has a museum. In addition to watching the production process of ceramics, you can also go to the museum to browse the development history of European porcelain over hundreds of years. What travellers say about Rotterdam

This windmill group is one of the two largest windmill groups in the Netherlands, but most tourists go to the windmill group near Amsterdam. This windmill group is relatively close to Rotterdam, and guests on Viking cruises are usually taken here for a visit. Viking cruises can dock very close to the attractions, so it is very labor-saving for tourists. Here you can not only take pictures outside the windmill, but also enter the windmill to see how it works.

I traveled to a city specifically for a painting. I went to The Hague just to see the masterpiece, "Girl with a Pearl Earring," in person. Compared to large museums, I personally prefer this art gallery; it's small, exquisite, and fulfilling, leaving a deep and unforgettable impression.

Of course it's worth coming here. It's super clean. Whether you're shopping for small things or buying souvenirs to bring back to relatives and friends, you can always buy what you need. Of course, there are also various delicacies, such as cheese, donuts, various chocolates, sausages... Our favorite is fried fish (Bakje kibbeling), which we must buy every time.

It's a town with a long history. It can't see the momentum of imperial use. Besides windmills, the designs are oriental.

Rotterdam built a high tower on the site of the Horticultural Expo. The top has a large space, a special viewing platform and a unique restaurant. This landmark building is also an important part of the local tour. There are many fun things around the tower. [Scenery] The scenery here is very good

Old Harbour in Rotterdam is a charming and historical area that should not be missed. The picturesque harbor, surrounded by old buildings, creates a unique atmosphere that is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a romantic evening out. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from, and the nearby Maritime Museum is a great spot to learn about the city's seafaring history.
