MAS - Museum aan de Stroom is located on the banks of theScheldt River, and is also known as the museum on the water or themuseum by the river. It connects the city and the port via the canal, symbolizing the city's connection to the world. Architectural inspiration It was designed by the Dutch architectural firm Neutelings Riedijk Architects and inspired by the 16th-century Hanzehuis warehouse. The entire building appears to be stacked with square boxes, and a spiral staircase winds around these boxes, offering visitors a new perspective of the city and the port. The museum's exterior walls are made of red sandstone from India, and the curved glass windows are up to 6m high. The 3,000 aluminum hand motifs embedded in the red sandstone make this red tower shimmer in the sunlight. The museum is 60m high, and if you climb to the top floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire city. Visitor guide The museum has 10 floors and houses over 370,000 items: the 1st floor is the office area, the 2nd floor is mainly a visible storage exhibition area displaying collections and their history, the 3rd floor is a temporary exhibition space, the 4th and 5th floors are exhibition areas themed on world human exchange, the 6th floor is an exhibition area themed on world port city maritime history, the 7th and 8th floors are exhibition areas themed on life and death, the 9th floor is a restaurant and reception room, and the 10th floor is a terrace viewing area. Some of the museum's collections come from the National Maritime Museum of Belgium, the Ethnographic Museum, and theFolklore Museum.Antwerp · 1.1km from downtown

Rubenshuisis a studio and residence built by Rubens after five years from 1610. At that time, European dignitaries and artists often came here to visit him. After restoration from 1939 to 1946, it has now become the Municipal Art Museum, and some of Rubens' paintings are displayed in the former residence. The main body of the former residence is a two-story building, and there is a huge garden behind the building. The scenery is very good. I guess Rubens often painted in the back garden. There is a huge oil painting of Adam and Eve in the exhibition hall on the first floor, the proportion is several times that of ordinary paintings. In addition to displaying various paintings on the second floor of the former residence, there are also medals and souvenirs awarded to Rubens by emperors and kings of various countries, as well as valuables such as gold coins later found in Rubens' tomb. Character background Rubens was born in Germany, his father is Antwerp. At the age of 12, his father died and he returned to Antwerp with his mother. Not only does he have the talent for painting, but he is also a diplomat who has mastered seven languages. He made a group of oil paintings "The Garden of Love" and "Judgment at the End of Days" with religion and mythology as the themes. The brushwork is free and easy, and the overall feeling is strong. It is characterized by the combination of the superb skills and humanistic ideas of Renaissance art and the ancient national art traditions of Flanders, forming a unique style of grandeur, rich colors and a strong sense of movement that enthusiastically praises the joy of life. style and became a representative figure of Baroque art.Antwerp · 597m from downtown

Antwerp's Great Market is super beautiful. This main square place is surrounded by impressive luxurious buildings. In the middle there is the famous statue located, the Brabofontein.

The Belgian Notre Dame Cathedral is a church with a long history. If you look closely at its architecture, you will find that it is very distinctive. If you have time, you can take a look at the walls. The statues inside are also very exquisite.

Antwerp Zoo is also worth visiting, with a rich variety of animals. It may not be as large as the large wildlife parks in China, but it is definitely worth a visit. The animals are relatively healthy and some are very active.

[Antwerp] With the help of friends, the efficiency is very high. I went to two museums in one day, both of which are very valuable. This building is very interesting. The view rotates 90° every time you go up to one floor. I came here. Friends, I suggest you don’t buy tickets, just go upstairs and don’t need to see the exhibition.

This castle located on the riverside has a long history and is quite small in scale. Today, only its architectural structure is left to see. It should be considered a relic, but it still attracts many tourists to check in.

[Scenery] Visiting Rubens's House in Antwerp [Fun] Rubens is the most brilliant pearl in Flemish art. He is not only the greatest artist in Flemish, but also represents the peak of European painting art in the 17th century.
