"I booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the customer service is excellent. They even offer room service until after 10:30 PM! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor – my kids loved it! While the breakfast buffet isn't super extensive, the quality of the food is very good. The location is fantastic, right next to Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang Department Store, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. Public transport is also easily accessible. The only minor downside is that the road outside can get quite congested, especially when trying to hail a taxi. It's fine if you're not in a rush, but it can be a bit of a hassle if you're on a tight schedule."

"Excellent stay! Our room had a fantastic view of the three-piece bathroom, and it was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool was also pristine. Everyone greeted us warmly, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a superb experience, and we'll definitely be back. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious, with a great variety of food."

"Our stay at the Sofitel was amazing. We live in a city nearby and I showed my mom (58) and my son (6) around the city. The room was spacious, clean and had enough space for all of us. The breakfast was amazing with loads of options. And the location was right where we needed to be. Close to North Bund, people's square and of course huahai middle road for shopping. Legoland was far but its far for everyone. Museums and all things central was great."

"My stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World was very comfortable overall. I'd especially like to mention Justin at the front desk – he was genuinely helpful, handled check-in efficiently, and even gave us a high-floor room when he saw I was with elderly parents and children. No fancy tricks, just a really thoughtful gesture. The executive lounge has a great atmosphere, quiet and peaceful, and watching the Nanjing Road scenery from there was very relaxing. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit."

"This trip to Shanghai Lujiazui, I chose to stay at the Citadines Lujiazui Shanghai, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I must give a huge shout-out to the front desk staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was quite tired from traveling with my luggage. The front desk staff greeted me with a constant smile, and their demeanor was both gentle and professional. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick, with no unnecessary waiting. They also thoughtfully informed me of the breakfast hours, laundry room location, and nearby transportation routes. Since my itinerary meant I arrived early and couldn't check in immediately, the front desk kindly stored my luggage for free and even offered complimentary bottled water. These thoughtful details were very heartwarming. The hotel's location is superb; it's within walking distance to the滨江步道 (riverside promenade), and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a fantastic view overlooking the Lujiazui skyline and the Huangpu River night view. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the wet/dry separated bathroom was a pleasure to use. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed rest for business travelers. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a self-service laundry room and a gym, both catering well to business travel needs. The breakfast selection was rich, offering a good mix of both Chinese and Western options. The front desk staff were always ready to answer questions and responded to requests promptly and considerately. Their service was warm and not rigid. This hotel is suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. The value for money in the Lujiazui area is exceptional. I will definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting 'The Magic City'."
