Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund

Rating: 5/5 This was my second stay at the Waldorf Astoria, and I must say the experience was excellent. From the elegant Morandi-inspired color palette to the spacious 2-meter bed, everything in the room was impressive and incredibly relaxing. The staff were all very polite! I think next time I visit Shanghai, I will continue to choose the Waldorf Astoria. Also! During this stay at the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, I'd like to extend a special thanks to our dedicated concierge, Aaron Echole. He proactively added me on WeChat on the night of check-in, which made communication seamless afterward. When I requested a late check-out at the last minute, the concierge immediately helped coordinate and implement it, making the entire process efficient and smooth. I didn't have to go back and forth to the front desk for inquiries. The communication was easy and thoughtful, and responses were quick. You could feel the dedication in the details. Such flexible and considerate service made my trip much more relaxed and significantly enhanced this stay.

During the October National Holiday, I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund, and the location is simply unbeatable. The staff provided excellent and professional service. Johnny Dave from the concierge team was particularly helpful and patient in answering all my inquiries about getting around. The old building itself is full of charm, making my holiday stay in Shanghai feel truly special and memorable.

One of my favorite hotel styles! 😍 Especially the bathroom – so chic! 😄 The luxurious, high-end, and exquisite decor really impressed me, especially since I'm quite particular about my bed. I actually slept through the night! Can't wait to visit Shanghai again!

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. The room was cozy, and the dedicated concierges, Echole and Aaron, provided attentive yet non-intrusive service. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely return.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, and its blend of a magnificent historic building with East-meets-West interior design imbues every detail with profound depth and elegant charm. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering superb views of both sides of the Huangpu River. All the staff I encountered were well-trained, friendly, and provided efficient and attentive service. The breakfast buffet, featuring both Western and Chinese options, was abundant and authentic in taste. The Long Bar on the ground floor of the old building is highly recommended; it has been meticulously restored to its original appearance from a century ago, exuding a vintage yet exquisite ambiance. On Friday nights, live jazz musicians enhance the already fantastic atmosphere.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a charming vintage vibe. The staff are all incredibly kind and attentive, especially our dedicated concierges, Echole and Aaron. Aaron was particularly enthusiastic, giving us a wonderful tour of the hotel, sharing its history, and even letting us experience the vintage elevator. Many thanks!

The hotel staff proactively added an extra bed for our family of four. Due to traffic control, we couldn't order takeout, but the concierge even helped us buy daily necessities. The service was very thoughtful! Max and Johnny were very attentive, and the night view was beautiful!

Check-in at the front desk was smooth, the room was clean, and our exclusive concierges Coco and Evelynn were very responsive to our needs. The environment was quiet, making for a restful stay. It's excellent value for money.

During the National Day holiday, we came to the Bund for sightseeing and chose this hotel with a rich historical ambiance, which used to be the site of the Shanghai Club. We stayed in the new building, but its overall decor style seamlessly connects with the main building. The room offered expansive views. Besides the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' directly opposite, the North Bund was also fully visible, offering an unobstructed panorama. The night view, once the lights were on, was quite different from the daytime scenery. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the staff are gentle and attentive. Special mention goes to the dedicated concierges, Aaron and Echole, who paid attention to every detail. We felt at ease throughout our stay, which was a very pleasant experience.
