Shanghai | Enjoy the traditional Chinese food in the tea house

This time, I met a friend on Wuyuan Road and we decided to visit this teahouse. The open space on the first floor was incredibly relaxing, and the balcony on the second floor offered a cool view of Shanghai’s streets. Highlights: Inspired by the collection of morning dew, this dish featured peas as a garnish and a vegetable purée at the bottom with a texture reminiscent of mashed potatoes. Unique and intriguing flavors! Black Truffle Stir-Fried Wild Mushrooms Absolutely loved this dish! The aroma of mushrooms combined with black truffle was heavenly. The crispy bits added a delightful crunch and were packed with flavor. Duck Confit Rice The duck leg was richly flavored and not greasy at all. The addition of black rice gave the dish a chewy, satisfying texture. Lily and Shrimp The lilies were sweet without any bitterness, complemented by peas as garnish. The shrimp was generously portioned—absolutely delicious! Desserts One had a gardenia flavor, soft and mousse-like in texture.
