Overall, it was great. Traveling was easier than I thought. For navigation, just use Apple Maps, and for payments, link your card to Alipay. However, the MRT ticket purchasing app was very slow, so I ended up using cash at the machine instead. The staff at restaurants, shops, and hotels were amazing and extremely helpful, and even if they didn’t speak English, they still tried their best to assist.
