Family Trip - Lake Sevan

Lake Sevan is the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region. The lake is situated in Gegharkunik Province, at an altitude of 1,900.44 m or 6,235 ft above sea level. So It is one of the largest freshwater high-altitude (alpine) lakes in Eurasia. I always loved swimming in the cool water of Sevan, it was one of my favorite destinations in Armenia since I was a child. Now every time when I stand on the shore of the lake, it brings up a lot of good and warm childhood memories. You can find several old church around the lake but the most popular one among tourists is (Sevanavank) located on a peninsula at the northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. #createwithtrip #lake #sevan #armenia #lakesevan #visitaenia #travellater
