Seoul Royal Hotel: The Heart of Myeongdong

When we traveled to Seoul, we chose the Seoul Royal Hotel 🏨, located in bustling Myeongdong. The address is 61, Myeongdong-gil, Jung-gu, and the transportation is super convenient! There are not only squares around the hotel, but also various cosmetics stores and souvenir shops. You can find many food stalls within a few steps, which is very suitable for those who love to shop and eat 🍜🍭. The location of the hotel is really unbeatable. You can find many popular attractions and restaurants 🔝 just by strolling around. Myeongdong Cathedral and the commercial street are just a few steps away, and the transportation on the back Euljiro is also very convenient. The hotel decoration style is modern, but some facilities are relatively old. The attitude of the front desk staff was a bit cold when we checked in, and it was a bit difficult to communicate in English, but overall the service was still acceptable 👌. Speaking of the room, we stayed for a week. The room was large and clean, but the carpet was a bit old and needed to be replaced. The room layout was reasonable, the facilities were complete, the bed was very comfortable, and the separate bathroom and toilet were especially suitable for three girls traveling together 👭👭. The executive lounge is a highlight, overlooking Seoul with a great view! In terms of room experience, the air conditioning system here is a bit annoying ❌. Although the outdoor temperature is not high, the central heating system in the room adjusted the temperature to be super hot, and we were sweating! The breakfast provided by the hotel is acceptable, but the variety is a bit monotonous and almost the same every day. However, seeing the Myeongdong Street outside the window gradually become lively, this experience is quite special 🌅. Staying here, the food and shopping options around are really rich. We recommend you try a few nearby restaurants, such as the food stalls near the Myeongdong Night Market, and barbecue is always a must 🍖. In addition, the food at YG Cafe is also good. Strolling and eating here really makes people feel relaxed and happy. Of course, the hotel also has some minor drawbacks, such as the elevator being too slow, and sometimes you have to wait several rounds to get a seat. One time when we checked out, because the child was sick, we wanted to delay the check-out, but the front desk staff was cold and refused directly. Also, some facilities in the hotel lobby and rooms look old and need to be renovated. 🙁 Overall, the location of the Seoul Royal Hotel really added a lot to the whole trip. The location is excellent, the service is acceptable, and if you are coming to Seoul to experience shopping and food, this hotel is still worth staying at ❣️.
