The Beautiful Xijiang performance is held in the theater on the commercial street of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. The theater has performances every day, with additional performances on holidays. When the drums start to beat, a group of Miao people in traditional costumes will begin their performance. Their colorful costumes, cheerful dances, beautiful legends, and touching love stories are all presented through their movements. The Miao ancient songs are the most wonderful part of the performance. The singers are all elderly people from the village, singing epic ancient songs in the Miao language.
