Enjoy the cool autumn winds with sands between your fingers

The weather is now cooler than the peak summer in June or July, but not too cool as January. So it is best for enjoying beaches in HK before winter comes. One of two beaches in Cheung Chau Island is Tung Wan Beach. From the ferry pier you can walk straight at Tung Wan road passing some food stall selling shaved ice, desserts or the iconic jumbo fish ball. The beach is quite clean and the waves are not too harsh. Many people decided to swim or play in the water. But as I didn’t prepare to swim, I only put my legs on the water to enjoy the cold sea water. It is also fun to do some treasure hunt to find pretty shells. Make sure you bring a mat for you to sit on the beach and plastic bag for your garbage to keep the beach clean! Going to Cheung Chau is always a good time because you can do much more than beach or eating! You can walk along the ferry pier, rent a bike or do some hiking! So if you think you have enough lazing around on the beach, you don’t need to waste too much time traveling to do another activity. #createwithtrip #cheungchau
