Changde Qianming Temple has a long history but has been destroyed and rebuilt. The current Qianming Temple was rebuilt in 2001, following the scale of the Tang Dynasty Qianming Temple with a Song Dynasty architectural style. The construction area is 21 acres, and it has completed the construction of the mountain gate, the Vajra Hall, the Guanyin Hall, the Heavenly King Hall, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the Ten Thousand Buddha Hall, and others. The overall impression is very good. The path leads up the mountain, and the temple is clean and quiet inside. Although it is a newly built temple, the trees are already tall and dense, with buildings and towers hidden among them, giving it an ancient charm. There are several Guanyin statues in the temple, including the Thousand-Hand Guanyin and the Child-Giving Guanyin. No monks were seen, and all the laypeople observed were women, which might be related. There is a tower standing on the mountain top, the mountain is a solitary peak, and the tower is the Solitary Peak Tower. It looks new and not very majestic, but once you climb the tower, you can see different scenery. From the fourth or fifth floor and above, you can see the Yuan River. Upon entering the temple, you first worship Buddha, and then you can see some monks inside. The courtyard is not particularly large, but it is very photogenic and has a great atmosphere.
