Stay in an Ancient Style Homestay by Liuyue Lake. Visiting Changde for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised! This is a very livable city. Located by Liuyue Lake, Huazhu Sima Courtyard blends well with the Tang Dynasty Sima community with its ancient architectural design. The interior decor is fresh and artistic, making every corner a perfect spot for social media photos. Umbrellas dance in the wind, and a cat curls up on the sofa scratching its ears, looking super cute! I stayed in a lake-view room with two beds that can accommodate four people, offering great value for money. The new Chinese-style wooden decor is very cozy, the bedding is comfortable, and it comes with a high-definition projector, making watching movies in bed a fantastic experience! The daily breakfast features freshly made Changde noodles, which have a strong local flavor. The homestay is very close to Dahe Street and Xiaohe Street, about a 20-minute drive to the old city center, making travel very convenient!
