Upon entering the college, the first thing you see is King's College Chapel, whose Gothic architectural style demonstrates the splendor and sophistication of the Middle Ages. Inside the chapel, a magnificent wooden altar screen stands, not only serving as a space divider but also as a perfect combination of art and faith. The rose window on the top floor attracts countless eyes with its exquisite design. Passing through the chapel, a wide courtyard unfolds before you, with the lawn and the River Cam complementing each other. By the bridge, a stone tablet with Xu Zhimo's poem stands quietly, inscribed with the classic verses from "Saying Goodbye to Cambridge Again," making one feel as if they can sense Xu Zhimo's literary inspiration and emotional expression when he studied here.
