Excellent
GGuest User## Facilities: Quite Disappointing
On the first day, the shower drain was blocked, causing water to overflow everywhere. It was quite late, so I ended up using a bathmat to soak it up myself. The next day, I specifically called the front desk, and they left a message when I returned saying it had been resolved. To my dismay, it was blocked again the second day, forcing me to rush out mid-shower to call them.
Additionally, the room phone seemed to have a faulty connection; I kept trying to dial but couldn't get a call through. Even after requesting an air purifier, my throat still felt quite stuffy.
## Service:
During check-in, I specifically requested not to be given a room at the end of the corridor. Well, they assigned me the very first room. Two staff members even came up to demonstrate how to operate the curtains... (a bit excessive!). However, the room service staff were actually very good; they were patient and responded promptly to all my requests.
## Location:
The location is indeed quite out of the way. Taxis are scarce during peak hours, whereas it was much easier to hail a cab at The Londoner during the same times. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with minors, as you'll have to walk a much longer route if you can't cut through the casino. I honestly don't know how people manage to explore all of Macau in a single day. For me, getting back from The Venetian felt incredibly far, and even getting to The Londoner was quite a trek. I was so exhausted I even considered taking a taxi just to get to Wynn.
## Cleanliness:
The cleanliness was acceptable. I didn't experience any allergic reactions while sleeping, and overall, the room was quite clean. However, I suspect my throat discomfort was likely related to the carpet.
GGuest UserIt was such a pleasant stay at the Okura hotel. We were there to celebrate birthday for 2 family members. The hotel decorated the room and offered a yummy birthday cake and stuffed bears wearing kimono. The kids were so happy. They also accommodated our request to arrange a room close to elevator (literately next to it) to my father-in-law who has reduced mobility. Thomas was supper helpful and nice. There is no in-dining breakfast as the restaurant is under renovation. Would like to come back when it is re-opened.
TTS527Facilities: They have everything you could ask for, including a swimming pool and spa.
Cleanliness: Spotless, no unpleasant odors whatsoever.
Environment: The surrounding area is incredibly convenient, with entertainment venues, cinemas, and shopping malls all nearby. There's also a Don Quijote with great prices, so you don't need to make a separate trip for Japanese goods.
Service: Extremely responsive to all requests, very satisfied. The only minor point is that some staff members' Mandarin isn't great, so you might need to speak English. The breakfast spread is fantastic, offering both Chinese and Western options, so you're sure to find something you like.
GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay at the resort! It is 2 blocks away from the main strip and a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, I got food poisoning on the first night and the staff did a great job of assisting me with getting health care. The mall attached to the hotel is very convenient and has alot of facilities. I would say be careful of some of the restaurants I believe I got food poisoning from one in the mall. Also, if you are travelling from the HZMB (Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge) the hotel next door Grand Lisboa has free shuttles and very near the Lisboeta. Overall, it was worth the price and I would stay there again just wary of the food.
⋯⋯SGood service, good environment, all sightseeing spot in walking distance. I love the infinity pool, not too big but enough. We can spend a morning in hotel and then slow walk around. Hotel just above Lafayette Galleries, so you can shopping even in bad weather. B1 have a big super market, very convenient. Wine is on promotion ^^.
Fireworks Festival is coming, remember to book a room tourist tower view.
MM368786****The location is actually quite good, with an open and spacious view. South wing rooms offer views of both sunrise and sunset. Although the hotel's soundproofing isn't great, the environment is definitely less cramped and stressful compared to the dense city center. The rooms are quite large. The water filtration might be insufficient, so I'd recommend bringing your own filter. Be careful with the showerhead as it can get very hot, so you need to patiently look for a non-smoking room; otherwise, the smell can be unbearable. The so-called upgrade to L'Occitane amenities is completely unnecessary; Grand Lisboa Palace's amenities are much cleaner than L'Occitane. The shopping mall at Grand Lisboa Palace is great for browsing, with good sunlight and ventilation, and no strange odors. It's also very close to Grand Lisboa, and you can walk to the food court and New Yaohan. I'd recommend booking this hotel if the price is under MOP 800, and there's no need to upgrade to L'Occitane – L'Occitane is even dirtier 😂
CCC TourThis hotel is right next to the Jai Alai Hotel. From Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, it only takes a few minutes to walk here, so not having a good view isn't a big deal—it's really convenient. Although they're currently renovating the exterior, and it can be a bit noisy during the day because they’re working next door, it’s not a problem if you’re out exploring during the day. Also, this hotel has an indoor pool. It's not huge, but you don't have to worry about the weather affecting it, which is a nice bonus! Another thing is that this hotel is very close to the Racing Museum, making it super convenient to visit. It's suitable for both adults and kids, so it's definitely worth a trip!
LLili9588Unacceptable Attitude from Front Desk and Lobby Security
My morning flight landed in Hong Kong, and after picking up my husband (who was utterly exhausted from his flight from Italy), we arrived in Macau around 11 AM. We immediately went to the front desk to inquire about an early check-in, as we were both extremely tired. Despite having called Ctrip beforehand (whose customer service was excellent and who confirmed they would arrange an early check-in if a room was available), the hotel flatly refused, insisting check-in was strictly at 3 PM.
We were forced to wait in the lobby. Exhausted, we eventually dozed off. A security guard then approached and *kicked our chair*, yelling loudly, ”Get up! Get up! Hey! Hey!” It was incredibly humiliating and made us feel like refugees. This wasn't a one-off incident either.
Unable to endure this treatment, I finally spoke to the lobby manager. His attitude and prompt action, however, were commendable. He immediately intervened with the front desk, and within half an hour, we were finally able to check into our room.
This entire experience was truly appalling and utterly disheartening.
GGuest UserWe booked a triple room for convenience, but it turned out to be exceptionally small. The window offered a view of tightly packed residential buildings, reminiscent of the old Kowloon Walled City, making it impossible to open the curtains. Despite being a triple room, only two tooth mugs were provided. When we asked the front desk, they directed us to housekeeping, who explained that while three sets of toiletries were given, their policy stipulated only two tooth mugs per room.
Then, in the middle of the night, the air conditioning broke. A technician worked on it for nearly an hour, but by 1 AM, it still wasn't fixed, and we were simply given a fan. At checkout, there was no apology or explanation whatsoever regarding the AC problem. To add insult to injury, upon checking out, we realized one room key card was missing, and they immediately charged us 50 RMB, citing their policy. It really feels like these rules are only for guests!
Hhgx1972The location is excellent, right by the Outer Harbour waterfront, making it perfect for morning strolls. Macau is quite compact, and the Ruins of St. Paul's are just a short walk away. The hotel has a traditional style, but all its facilities are very well-maintained. It was spotlessly clean. The service was incredibly warm, attentive, patient, and polite. A great bonus was that the front desk staff were fluent in standard Mandarin.
