"Advantages: The location is OK, close to the CBD and the beach, 10 minutes walk. It is said that this area is safer and there have been no major problems.
Disadvantages: outdated facilities, noisy surroundings, very few types of breakfast. There are power outages several times a day. It is said that the government has limited power supply. It needs to be switched between public and private appliances. Every switch will cause a power outage for dozens of seconds."

"Many thanks to the manager-supervisor Ahmad. Without his help, I would have been in a very difficult situation. I had a business in Beirut and he gave me all the necessary information about SIM cards, the Internet, how to use Google maps offline, where to buy the chocolate I needed, and even offered me a guide around Beirut. "The Lancaster Hotel has always been great, with good customer service, location, hygiene, etc. It has always been my first choice for business trips to Beirut. However, I am very grateful for the thoughtfulness of the customer service staff and the timely response of the front desk during this stay, including the room change. "Room was very clean. The only issue I saw was the door for the bathroom is rotten. I asked the cleaning maid for clean towels and she ignored me. When arriving at hotel, I had to wait about 45 minutes for a room to be ready and the baggage boy just threw my luggage on the floor without any regards for its contents. I tried to order food for lunch at about 1300 and the lady that answered room service just said no breakfast and hung up. I wanted to order a burger from their menu. So I opted to go eat outside of the hotel. Other than that... the stuff was great. The hotel is being remodeled so lots of construction noise in the morning and lots of routy guests at night and no one tells them to be quiet."

"Didn't expect much from the hotel. Very modest, no bathroom amenities (shampoo, etc.), only shower gel in a dispenser. I had to ask for an iron, as it seems to be the only one for the whole hotel. Very high humidity, the bed always felt damp. I asked for a non-smoking room, yes, it was written on the floor that the floor was non-smoking. But when I just went into the room, the feeling was that a company of 10 people had just smoked there. There was also an ashtray - accordingly, it is assumed that you can smoke ..
Bed linen was changed the day before departure.
Once I bought breakfast, also very modestly, there is no choice ...
The hotel itself is right in Hamra, close to many shops, restaurants, close (walking 15 minutes) to Zaituna Bay.
The staff is very friendly, they always tried to fulfill the wishes quickly.
In general, if you are only going to sleep, then it’s fine."

"Benefits: The hotel room is large with a small balcony, the sea view is great, and the breakfast can be seen on the top floor. Disadvantages: 1. Book one month in advance and write an email to the hotel to book the airport pick-up service. After the arrival, I can't find the car. After I went to the hotel, I asked if I didn't even apologize. I said, ”Oh, the colleague who may have promised you forgot. ”. 2. The hotel is not allowed to bring water and food, and no kettle is provided. You can only drink mineral water from the small bar in the room. The cheapest one is a 2000LL bottle. 3. Compared to the international level, the hotel needs to step up on the cleanliness and quality control.
The support was good and the efforts were appreciated but the hotel management needs to invest more to meet up with the international equivalent rate per night.
Noting that the conditions of the country are currently defying and keeping up with the basic services is nearly impossible, and the hotel managed to provide the basics from water/hot water, electricity and A/C almost 24/7.
Can order outside delivery to the room.
Suitable for competitive rates, and customers intending to spend time outdoors as for travelers, young tourists, and regional customers.

GGuest UserBecause they gave the wrong room key, they waited for 10 minutes while entering the rooms. However, the location is fine and the hotel is fine compared to most hotels in Beirut. The lack of parking space or contracted parking is a big disadvantage. If you come at night, you can find a vacant place, but there may not be an empty place during the day.

I had an absolutely amazing stay.
The room was spotless, the corners were perfectly clean, and the floor was shining the moment I walked in. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room felt fresh, well-maintained, and welcoming.
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, making the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out.
The toilets were very tidy, clean, and organized, which added a lot to the comfort of the stay.
The hotel is safe, quiet, and in the best location in Hamra, just steps away from AUBMC, restaurants, and all main attractions.
Great value, great service, and truly exceptional cleanliness.
Honestly, a 10/10 stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose it again.
