"Advantages: The location is OK, close to the CBD and the beach, 10 minutes walk. It is said that this area is safer and there have been no major problems.
Disadvantages: outdated facilities, noisy surroundings, very few types of breakfast. There are power outages several times a day. It is said that the government has limited power supply. It needs to be switched between public and private appliances. Every switch will cause a power outage for dozens of seconds."

"We went there relying on the comments, we had high expectations, but I think the rooms smelled damp, there were no slippers, there was no hair dryer, the pool was closed, the breakfast was good, the location was in the Hamra area. If I go to Beirut again, I would choose a hotel closer to the beach, the wifi was good, the cafe section was lively, it was nice, it was a normal hotel in terms of price performance."

"The Lancaster Hotel has always been great, with good customer service, location, hygiene, etc. It has always been my first choice for business trips to Beirut. However, I am very grateful for the thoughtfulness of the customer service staff and the timely response of the front desk during this stay, including the room change. Only the bathroom facilities after the room change were a little unsatisfactory, and the other feelings were almost perfect."

"Room was very clean. The only issue I saw was the door for the bathroom is rotten. I asked the cleaning maid for clean towels and she ignored me. When arriving at hotel, I had to wait about 45 minutes for a room to be ready and the baggage boy just threw my luggage on the floor without any regards for its contents. I tried to order food for lunch at about 1300 and the lady that answered room service just said no breakfast and hung up. I wanted to order a burger from their menu. So I opted to go eat outside of the hotel. Other than that... the stuff was great. The hotel is being remodeled so lots of construction noise in the morning and lots of routy guests at night and no one tells them to be quiet."

After breakfast on the morning of leaving the store, the lady at the front desk of the restaurant asked me to fill out a questionnaire. I was not satisfied with the type of food. She asked me to fill in the specific point. What I wanted to eat, I wrote fried rice and fried noodles. She said that she could tell them to cook it in the kitchen. This really surprised me, the service is really good. But next time
One more thing, in Lebanon, you don't have to exchange Lebanese pounds, because there is almost no place to collect dollars, and the exchange rate is more cost-effective than the exchange point.
Strangely enough, in Lebanon, Uber drivers often ask for a price increase outside the system price, and I would rather re-hire and refuse, but sometimes it is not good to take a taxi and have to accept a price increase."

"Many thanks to the manager-supervisor Ahmad. Without his help, I would have been in a very difficult situation. I had a business in Beirut and he gave me all the necessary information about SIM cards, the Internet, how to use Google maps offline, where to buy the chocolate I needed, and even offered me a guide around Beirut. Moreover, Ahmad personally arranged with the chocolate shops, and I just had to come and buy what I needed. I am very grateful to him!!!"

"Didn't expect much from the hotel. Very modest, no bathroom amenities (shampoo, etc.), only shower gel in a dispenser. I had to ask for an iron, as it seems to be the only one for the whole hotel. Very high humidity, the bed always felt damp. I asked for a non-smoking room, yes, it was written on the floor that the floor was non-smoking. But when I just went into the room, the feeling was that a company of 10 people had just smoked there. There was also an ashtray - accordingly, it is assumed that you can smoke ..
Bed linen was changed the day before departure.
Once I bought breakfast, also very modestly, there is no choice ...
The hotel itself is right in Hamra, close to many shops, restaurants, close (walking 15 minutes) to Zaituna Bay.
The staff is very friendly, they always tried to fulfill the wishes quickly.

MMVery nice, helpful, English speaking staff. The hotel is in a great location if you’re in Beirut for the tourism or the nightlife.
If you’re booking, do bear in mind that it’s got somewhat of a hostel vibe(even though it is a proper hotel) and if you’re looking for a place with lots of amenities you might not be as happy.
I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Beirut and will stay here again when I return.

I had an absolutely amazing stay.
The room was spotless, the corners were perfectly clean, and the floor was shining the moment I walked in. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room felt fresh, well-maintained, and welcoming.
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional, making the entire experience smooth from check-in to check-out.
The toilets were very tidy, clean, and organized, which added a lot to the comfort of the stay.
The hotel is safe, quiet, and in the best location in Hamra, just steps away from AUBMC, restaurants, and all main attractions.
Great value, great service, and truly exceptional cleanliness.
Honestly, a 10/10 stay. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose it again.
