"I checked into the Mengjing Wangyue Courtyard Hotel on August 21st, and my experience was absolutely amazing! This Chinese-style courtyard hotel, tucked away next to the Jinma Biji Archway on Kunming's Nanping Pedestrian Street, makes you feel relaxed the moment you step in. With its two courtyards, arhat pine bonsai, ancient well, and fish pond, even the air carries the scent of Pu'er tea – it perfectly balances tranquility with its bustling surroundings. The room features a black and white new Chinese style. The bedding was clean and soft, with yellow throw pillows and a bed runner adding just the right touch. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, and all the fixtures have a brass finish – a detail-lover's dream! The biggest surprise was breakfast: freshly cooked Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles with a rich broth and a wide variety of toppings. The front desk staff, a few young ladies, were incredibly warm and helpful. They not only assisted with luggage and recommended local delicacies but also thoughtfully suggested old-fashioned snack shops nearby, giving clear directions. The hotel's public area also offers free refreshments and various experiences. Spending an evening in the courtyard, sipping Dianhong tea and watching the fish swim, felt like traveling back to the slow pace of old Kunming. The location is also unbeatable. It's a 6-minute walk to the Jinma Biji Archway, and Ri Jin Lou is right across the street, making it a one-stop shop for exploring, eating, and taking photos. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely stay here again – it's not that other hotels are struggling, it's just that this one perfectly balances ”local culture” and ”comfortable experience”!"

"I arrived at the airport late the night before, but the hotel's pick-up service was perfectly arranged. The driver was already waiting, and even proactively helped with my luggage, completely saving me the hassle of finding a taxi in the middle of the night. Upon arrival, front desk staff member #6 was incredibly friendly and polite, and check-in was very efficient. She also thoughtfully informed me of all the important details. After a long and tiring journey, the warm and thoughtful service from the staff made me feel so much better, and the room environment was also excellent. The overall service was impeccable, I highly recommend this hotel! It will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Kunming!"

"I decided to take a spontaneous weekend trip to Kunming, and staying at Atour Hotel was the perfect choice. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the central business district, and I could walk to Kunming Old Street and Nanqiang Pedestrian Street. Super convenient! The front desk staff were also very thoughtful and upgraded me to an executive room, which was spotlessly clean. The hotel breakfast was delicious too. When I checked out, the handsome guy at the front desk even gave me some Yunnan small-grain coffee. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family to Kunming next time."

"Facilities: A bit old, but generally pretty good. The bed is neither too soft nor too hard. The duvet is fine with the AC on, but it can get a bit warm without it, given Kunming's large temperature variations. There's a small garden and an outdoor hot tub, but apparently it's not usable. It's very photogenic though! The living room and bedroom are separate, which is great for families or multiple families staying together as you can chat comfortably. There are also seating areas in the room corridors where you can relax and talk. Being inside the scenic area, the courtyard rooms are quiet. Other room types might be a bit noisier. At midday, it can feel quite bustling outside with traffic and vendors calling out. The courtyard suites, however, are not noisy at all. The location is in the Jinbi area, not far from Nanping Old Street. Just cross a road and walk through Nanping Hui, and you're in a commercial area. For food and drinks, there are snacks right downstairs, though not many main courses. I think the options across the street are better. The hotel breakfast is à la carte and needs to be ordered a day in advance. We tried it one day, but after that, we opted for takeout or ate out. The hotel service is quite good. They have a butler service, and the staff's attitude is very pleasant. When we had a delay, they helped us coordinate a later checkout. For transport, since it's within the scenic area, you'll probably need to walk a bit after getting off the car. However, you can also have your car drive to the parking lot, and there's an elevator near the exit that takes you up."

"Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout, making me feel comfortable the moment I stepped in. The room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light. The bedding was soft and clean; lying on it instantly melted away my fatigue. All the facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning, TV, and bathroom all worked perfectly. The hot water came quickly and the temperature was stable, and the toiletries were ample and sufficient. They offer free late-night snacks, and the airport shuttle service is very convenient, getting you to the hotel in just 10 minutes. The front desk staff were also great, with a very good attitude! The bathroom's wet and dry separation was excellent, with no standing water, and it was meticulously cleaned. The room's soundproofing was effective, ensuring a quiet night and a high quality of rest. The staff were gentle and polite, and check-in/check-out was efficient, with quick responses to any requests. The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Overall, it offers great value for money, suitable for both short trips and brief stays. This time, my stay was a pleasant surprise, and I will definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in the area. I sincerely recommend it to everyone."

"Yitel Premium is situated in a fantastic location in Kunming! Super close to Old Street where you can find tons of food, shopping, teas & coffees galore! The hotel was lovely - super comfortable bed, good smelling bathroom amenities, and complimentary water. We used the laundry facility and it was very useful. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but still everything we ate was delicious. This hotel's location makes it prime real estate, I highly recommend!!"

"This hotel is incredibly thoughtful, beyond words! It's simply amazing, truly exceptional service. I initially chose to book the Mengjing Xiyue Hotel because I saw many recommendations on Xiaohongshu, especially praising the hotel's rooftop and balconies, which looked beautiful. I never expected that after actually checking in, I'd find the hotel's service and attention to detail even more surprising! The day before check-in, the hotel staff proactively contacted us to ask about our room setup preferences for the romantic room type. Even before checking in, I could already feel their immense dedication. The hygiene also made me feel very secure! The elevator, rooms, and lobby are disinfected daily, and the towels and amenities in the room are individually packaged. Both the room and bathroom were kept exceptionally clean. For guests who value cleanliness and hygiene, this truly provides great peace of mind. What touched me the most were these thoughtful little details! My feet were aching from days of shopping, even a bit inflamed, so I went to the front desk to ask the staff if they had a foot bath. To my surprise, the staff immediately sent a foot bath to my room, and even included herbal sachets for soaking my feet! My hands were chapped and cracking due to the dry weather, so I also inquired at the front desk. The staff thoughtfully provided hand cream. These are services that are not 'mandatory,' yet they were willing to proactively help. It truly makes you feel: this hotel genuinely cares about its guests' experiences. Breakfast is also served individually, and the portions are incredibly generous! And it's not just the quantity; the taste is also excellent, especially the tomato and egg noodle soup – I've truly loved it these past few days! In the lobby, there's also a popcorn machine + various floral teas that you can mix and match! You can enjoy freshly popped popcorn every day~ You can also choose your own floral tea, put it in a small paper cup, and take it back to your room to sip while watching TV. And every evening, there are delicious 'goodnight' desserts prepared. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel and finding these little surprises waiting for you is truly wonderful. I've stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I've felt: 'I had such a happy stay, I almost didn't want to check out.' It's not because the hotel is luxurious, but because every small detail makes you feel their immense dedication. If I ever come back to Kunming, I will definitely stay here again! Because sometimes in the evening, when washing clothes, there are quite a few guests using them, and you have to wait for quite a while."

We booked the Loft, with a living room on the first floor and a bedroom on the second, it felt just like home. We enjoyed tea daily, and the hotel even provided complimentary afternoon tea. The 24-hour butler service was excellent, always available and responsive. They thoughtfully prepared a travel guide for us. The daily breakfast was a delicious mix of Chinese and Western options!
