Yachajiao is a wonderful hotel with a spectacular location! Seated in the Tiger Leaping Gorge you have amazing views of the Yulong Snow Mountain. We stayed there for one night for our hike but if we had time we would gladly stay longer! The check in was smooth and fast, communication through WeChat was convenient and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast was a mix of Chinese and Western and gave us a good start for our hike. They have an outdoor pool with mountain views but it was sadly enough too cold in winter to try it out. The staff were friendly and very helpful! For sure we will remember this lovely guesthouse with the amazing views!

As you wind your way up, the moment you see the B&B, you feel like you are in a different place. The path to the B&B is better than the road in Tiger Leaping Gorge town.
The boss lady is very enthusiastic and chats like family. The chicken soup prepared in the evening was very delicious. When we asked about buying oxygen, they gave us free oxygen left by previous guests.
The room is very clean and the decoration is relatively new. Unfortunately, the water pressure is too low, both in the sink and in the shower. It would be perfect if this could be improved.

It's really great!!! The front desk is super welcoming!!! The room is also big! The bedding is super soft and comfortable!!! It's really amazing! Due to the altitude sickness caused by the high altitude of Lijiang, we temporarily changed to Tiger Leaping Gorge Secret·Half Mountain, which is at a lower altitude. Unexpectedly, we gained a different accommodation experience and beautiful scenery.
The boss is generous and attentive. Every hotel waiter is thoughtful and patient. The hotel concept and service are worthy of praise during the entire Yunnan trip.
Lying on the bed, you can get a beautiful view like a landscape painting. The food is delicious and the afternoon tea is full of sincerity.
If you have the opportunity to hike Tiger Leaping Gorge in the future, Shangri-La Secret·Half Mountain will be the best choice.

After trekking in Hodogyeop, I didn't know how much time I would have, so I came without deciding on a hotel. After trekking in Junghogyeop, my legs were so tired😂 I booked this hotel on the same day. I couldn't walk anymore, but the owner personally picked me up at the entrance of Junghogyeop trekking. I was so grateful that I cried. Moreover, he gave us an upgraded room than the one we had reserved. The moment I entered the room, the view was fantastic. Yulong Snow Mountain and Happo Snow Mountain. The Geumsa River in between. 👍 The sunset and the countless stars in the sky in the dark night were all amazing. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Americano and cappuccino coffee were made whenever I wanted. The green tea the owner made after the morning walk was also great. The owner, his wife, the ladies who worked with him, and his nephew were all so kind and had kindness on their faces. I was happy to meet them. The hotel was great, but the people here were even better. The fantastic Hodogyeop can't beat the people at this hotel. Because happiness that comes from people is more excellent than any other happiness.

🪴For reference, the view is much better than Tina House, and I think it has a better view than any hotel in this area.

The last stop of Shangri-La trip arrived at Haba Village. In the night, the owner of the B&B warmly welcomed us and helped us load and unload our luggage. Considering that we had a lot of luggage and were tired from the journey, we directly upgraded to a larger room type, and then personally She drove us to a very delicious small restaurant in the village for dinner. We saw her greeting the folks in the village familiarly. It seemed like she was very popular, lively and interesting, and very picturesque. After the meal, we returned to the warm B&B. , neat and clean, with complete facilities. There is a large tea table in the yard for guests to drink tea and chat. It is very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast the next day was delicious rice noodles, noodles, and pancakes, all freshly baked and very comfortable to eat. Some of the guests went to climb snow mountains, some were on vacation, and some were a group of light hikers like us. They were all taken care of very well and tried their best to satisfy everyone's wishes. The boss took us to pick hazelnuts in the woods in her backyard. It was really our first experience in life. It was very interesting. In the woods, we saw the mountain spring flowing straight down from Haba Snow Mountain, which is the water source for food and use of the B&B. It was really high-end 👍 Lunch is The boss personally prepares the home-cooked delicacies in the kitchen. Looking at the green mountains and green valleys in the small courtyard, you can enjoy the five-star view of the restaurant. It is amazing. To be honest, we are reluctant to leave. In just half a day, the boss and his family left a deep impression on us. They are warm, honest, kind and lovely. I hope they all go well and their business is prosperous. I also seriously recommend this B&B to everyone. It is excellent. Worth it, worth having. We will meet again next time we go hiking in Haba. ❤️

This tent camp is located in a beautiful area, the view is gigantic, as is the starry sky at night. It is easy to reach on foot from Haba, about 7 km and 650 meters in altitude. At dinner we went into raptures, the traditional hot pot in the communal hut, a fireplace crackling, and you go outside and see this wonderful sky.
The owner helped us plan the next day and organised a trip to Shangrila. It was all perfect, thank you so much.

I was worried about the room being dirty and messy before, but I didn't expect it to be very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The room and bathroom are separate, and there are disposable toilet seats.
The camp has many small details, it's beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! ! !

This hotel truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its cleanliness and the warm, friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The service is nothing short of excellent—they even offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the train station, which made our journey so much easier.
The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The room is spacious, with a big TV screen and a cozy sofa for relaxation. The thoughtful amenities include a heated floor and bed, which were perfect for the cold weather. Even the toilet seat has a heater and a bidet, making it incredibly convenient and comfortable. They also provide additional oxygen in the room—a great touch, especially for those who might feel the effects of high altitude.
The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking! Imagine waking up to stunning mountain scenery, lush green grasslands, and sheep grazing peacefully—it’s like a dream come true. To make our stay even more special, they upgraded our room for free to one with a luxurious bathtub!
For Muslim travelers, this hotel is incredibly accommodating—they provided us with a delicious vegetarian breakfast, so we felt completely at ease. However, please be mindful when sitting on the sofas as their adorable, friendly dog loves to sit there too and might come to greet you. Their dog is super cute and playful, adding a warm and homey touch to the stay!
One of the most delightful surprises was that the hotel provides traditional Chinese costumes for free! We had so much fun dressing up and taking beautiful photos. It made us feel like royalty from an ancient Chinese dynasty—truly a unique and unforgettable experience.
Despite the language barrier, the staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs. They went above and beyond to assist us, offering suggestions, pinpointing locations, and ensuring we had everything we needed. This hotel is located near the stunning Napahai Lake, not Dukezong Ancient City. If you’re planning to stay close to Dukezong, this might not be the best choice. But trust me, you don’t need to stay near Dukezong—this hotel is so good, it’s worth being a little further away. The peaceful surroundings, incredible service, and top-notch amenities make it more than worth it!
Another fantastic perk is the nearby e-bike rental. We rented bikes and had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Napahai area and enjoying the serene countryside.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for travelers from Malaysia. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Trust me, you won’t regret staying here—it’s a memory you’ll cherish forever!

Then when we left, the boss got up at 6 o'clock in the morning to take us to the high-speed rail station. When we arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening, the boss helped us get in touch with us to take a ride to the Meili Snow Mountain to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. We arrived at the B&B and drank fruit and butter tea! The sanitary environment is very good! The equipment is all brand new and said to be newly opened this year! Highly recommend everyone to stay here

GGuest UserFeifan Hotel is conveniently located in Shangri La Old Town (Dukezong) and is fully accessible by car/taxi, which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated, paying homage to the town's Tibetan's roots, which is what makes the hotel very charming to me. The room itself is very clean comfortable to stay in, the amenities and kits provided are more than plentiful. The floors in front of the bathroom are also heated, which is very surprising (I wasn't expecting that). The loveliest aspect of my stay would have to be the kind hotel staff who were very helpful and welcoming to us starting from our arrival (the cups of warm tea was very relieving during the cold night). A couple of hotel staff members can converse in English, which was very helpful for us as we are foreign tourists. I appreciated the conversations I had with a staff member during breakfast about the various foods that was on offer. I also appreciated the little gift that was given to us when we checked out as the hotel staff seemed to notice that I did enjoyed several cups of butter tea during my breakfast and the help with arranging a car to transport us to the train station. Overall, I am very impressed with our stay here and would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to stay here. It is worth it!

GGuest UserThis trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge is very worthwhile. The happiest and happiest thing is to meet Tingtao Yage. There were many children staying that day. Our children had a lot of fun and were super happy. They didn't want to leave. The daughter of the owner of Tingtao Yage is only eight years old. She is super capable. She serves tea and water to guests and looks like an adult. I must give her a thumbs up. Their service is really great. They took the initiative to call us, carefully explained the precautions, added WeChat, and informed us of the road conditions in time. It was no problem to drive slowly on the rural road that was a few hundred meters into the village. The room was very clean, the quilt was dry, and I slept very comfortably. You can eat the fruits on the trees at will. They are a super generous family. If I have time in the future, I will definitely come here and stay for a few months.

AAngService was very warm as we reached late at night and the owner welcomed us with warm stove and some dinner, warm water and snacks. Take note to notify the owner early to assist with bringing your luggage in/out by a small electric vehicle.
Room was clean, very spacious with humidifier. Toilet has curtains as doors. Nice view of the city from the windows. We went in May and can get cold. The bed had an electric warmer.

NNanaInChinaAbsolutely IN LOVE with this guesthouse and the owners. The whole family will take care of you. They pick you up from Tina's and help you book the bus back if you need to. The son cooks the most amazing food (I think it was the best egg and tomato I've had in my 7 years in China) and the parents love to get to know you and help you with anything you might need. They are always on the move to make their guests feel comfortable. The owner always gave us fruit and other snacks and they also have some good beer choice.
The views from the room were wonderful. I would absolutely go back if I had the chance.

Because it is quite difficult to carry luaggage on the cobblestone street. Hotel has unique style with mountain view. Hot ginger tea, which is always served is excellen,t especially in cool weather.

For me, the most special thing about this inn compared to other inns is that I am no longer a stranger in it. When there is no itinerary to go out to play, I can go to the living room of the inn to eat and drink coffee. You can go to the top floor to see the scenery, swing, belong to me is a room, I have too many things to do, for me, this inn has become a attraction in my trip.
While staying in the living room, occasionally meet other tenants. We will chat together, tell the stories of our respective trips, share and share travel experiences. The cats are raised in a specific place and will never let them enter the tenants' room.
