We arrived in Shangri-la late at night. The owner of the hotel told us to go to a certain location so they could go pick us up, we were not charged for this service. They were very kind to us, especially to me since I had a hard time adjusting to the altitude and they told us what to do to alleviate my altitude sickness issues. The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The atmosphere of the place gives you a feeling you’re immersed in the local culture. The view from the top rooms are breathtaking, you can have an overview of the town and the main temple. Just beware that in order to have this view, you need to climb a lot of stairs, and at this altitude, climbing stairs can be a daunting challenge, but totally worthwhile. I highly recommend this place.

A good place to relax and escape the heat, especially quiet and comfortable. The temperature in the south is 40 degrees. When you arrive in Shangri-La, you need to turn on the electric blanket at night. Who knows! I originally planned to stay for two days, but I didn't want to leave after I came, so I booked five days. I didn't go anywhere, just stayed here to relax, read books, and climb mountains. It was really comfortable!

The boss recommended a 2-kilometer ranch horse riding, the scenery is great, and the children are also very happy. The hotel has four cute big dogs, and the children like it very much. This was the nicest hotel during our China trip start of May 2024. The rooms are spacious, the beds have perfect matrasses, Rooms are heated and have a humidifyer as the air is very dry in Shangri-La. The exterior and interior are ******* style. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. Short walking distance from the main square and streets and 3 minutes walk from the street where to take a taxi. Very quiet at night. First choice in Shangri-la when we make it back.

This accommodation is a glamping accommodation and is located in a very beautiful place. The view from the hut is fantastic, and there is a cafe right next to the accommodation, so you can have a delicious dinner. The cleanliness of the accommodation is excellent, and the amenities are luxurious. After visiting Zhonghuo Gorge, my friend and I paid 300 yuan one way for a taxi and it took about 40 minutes to get to the accommodation. I highly recommend visiting after trekking in Hodo Gorge!
