Hotels near Bahía de Santander, Santander

Lovely family run hotel situated in the outskirts of Santander , in a rural location with stunning views. Javier the host was warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The rooms are beautiful , clean and the shower is superb. Breakfast was perfect, with delicious Spanish offerings. We want to come back to stay longer, as so much to do in surrounding areas and this is a great place to stay. The only thing that could be improved would be to provide a fan or air conditioning unit .

Lovely small hotel. In a great location. 10 mins walk to Old Town. 25 mins to beach. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which is very useful. There are some lovely restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk. I can strongly recommend The Magnolia restaurant 10/10. Some of the best food I've ever had in Spain and a beautiful setting. Book in advance and ask for top terrace. Superb. The hotel pool is small but big enough to cool down in. There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but breakfast and drinks are provided in your room. A nice touch. You also get a glass of cava while you get booked in. Miroslava ( Mexican) was great. She couldn't be more helpful. The only down side was the room design. The reading lights are too low. If you want to read in bed the only place for the pillows is over the lights. Totally impracticable and very uncomfortable 😕 A small gripe. Would recommend.

Nice ambience and atmosphere at the restaurant where we have our breakfast. If there is an opportunity, will come back to enjoy a meal there at least. I have a big toilet in my room and happy staying there. But, my friends’ room without a fridge, quite inconvenience especially we like to drink cold drink etc.

Although it is at the end of the seaside, the room is comfortable and the parking is convenient, especially the restaurant inside the hotel is very good. Recommended as a family travel hotel!

Only by chance I landed in La Roca because I wanted to rest in Santander just because of too much stress. My thanks to Kevin (flowing English).

Loved the stay in this NH hotel in particularly, we travelled with our dog and it was the first time they have left us a bed and a toy for him. Small details count 😌

Completely recommended hotel, we had double room with outdoor view, very cosy, with modern decoration and the location at two streets of the center,to rise is expensive upwards but on the street there are mechanical stairs that lead you to the street of the The hotel and best the full breakfast with a variety of things. I would certainly stay again and the chic@s of the reception very friendly.

Hotel location is excellent, if it is a holiday, it is very convenient, the door is the famous beach. If it is business, it is OK,2-3 kilometers away from the city center, there is a bus stop at the door, and Uber parking is also very convenient. I usually go to the city center for 30 minutes along the beach leg, and I can browse the beautiful scenery. Breakfast standard Spanish characteristics, but very complete, the restaurant scenery is very good, facing the sea, but there is no Chinese food, eat more Western style, resulting in my return trip to the Air China plane can be delicious.

LOVELY and beautiful hotel WITH A GREAT BUFFETT BREAKFAST FOR A GOOD PRICE. IT OVER EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. Ana, Antonio and Son's have a wonderful way to treat their clientela. And Merce, the head housekeeper is always on the look to assistance you with whatever your needs are. She's absolutely the best, a real asset to this corporation. My only suggestion is to install safety bars in the bathrooms. But it's a great place to stay, whether itsolo or with fanily .family . Young children will enjoy the swing set on the beautiful garden
