The rates were a little higher than expected and the rooms a bit dated but overall was a pleasant stay. The staff is very minimal. The breakfast area has some hot options and coffee but is only manned by one individual, whom I want to note did an amazing job on her own. Its a little further walk from some downtown locations but overall a good option.

We stayed at this hotel while celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday with a trip to St. Elmo’s. The location was really great - we did a lot of walking around town during the day and were even able to walk to St. Elmo’s later that night. It’s a very beautiful area! The hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful. During our stay there was an issue with the keycards but the staff was very accommodating with letting us in and out of the room as needed. Our room was very comfortable - although a little worn looking - it was clean and we were happy with it. Overall this was a great place to stay and we would recommend it to others visiting the area!

The location is very good and many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel staff is very good at serving. The privacy of the hotel is very good. The pool is nice. The disadvantage is that the parking lot is expensive. Hotel staff suggested that we parked in the opposite shopping garage, which cost less than half of the hotel. There is also a feeling that the paper towels of the five-star hotel are very poor. There was no breakfast at the hotel because there were too many good restaurants to choose from.

Nice hotel with central downtown location. Valet is very quick. Rooms are very nice as well. The service is really outstanding here - everyone I interacted with was very helpful, from room service delivery to valet to maintenance. The AC in my room wasn't working when I checked in, and they had someone up quickly who fixed it in a few minutes. The bathrooms could be a bit cleaner for the price point, but all other factors make that pretty much a non-issue. I'd gladly stay again.

Room 2618 was a beautiful room. A few comments: 1) The room door was slightly misaligned and did not shut. They did fix it very quickly. 2) The internet went out on Thursday for 6+ hours Overall, the experience was great. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was cleaned daily, which is different from many hotels currently.

We only stayed one night, but have no complaints. Check in was a breeze using our phone. The hotel was clean and felt safe. I didn't notice any excessive noise and the bed was comfortable. The downstairs bar was nicely stocked and had a good variety of beers on tap. Starbucks coffee was available to purchase in the market cafe and the service there was nice. We would certainly stay here again if in the area.

Outstanding
My daughter's wedding was this past weekend (Oct 5th) and we had blocked rooms for ourselves, the future bride and groom and guests. All I have to say is book here. the rooms are spacious and very clean. They are like very roomy studio apartments, with a stove top, sink and refrigerator and not one of those small ones usually found in hotel rooms. I found the managers as well as the staff to be accommodating. Everyone was friendly and always willing to help. I will always book the Residence Inn Indianapolis South/Greenwood for any future stays in that area.
TTyler CarterThe hotel is nice. It reminds me of the hotels my parents would take us kids when young : big, spacious lobby, the smell of a pool, indoor balconies where you can look out on the interior. All was nice and luxurious, though maybe a bit older. We were going to the airport early so really there wasn't much time to hangout. My partner found it a bit cold as our ac unit didn't produce heat reliably.
GGuest UserWe stayed at the SpringHill Suites for GenCon. The room was modern with some nice touches like a sliding translucent room divider to given someone sleeping on the couch some privacy from the main bed. A separate shower and toilet room so more then one person could get ready in the morning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Sadly like many stops on this trip, no black tea at breakfast, just a selection of herbal teas and coffee. Location is close to the downtown core and you can get to the Convention center though the JW without going outside.
DDAPENGIt snowed heavily when I went, but the traffic around the hotel was good. There were shopping and eating places nearby. The hotel had a little sense of history. The breakfast was average and not bad.
GGuest UserI have stayed here many times in the past. I used to live in northern IN & went to the Indy area frequently for various conferences. Now I live out of state but had occasion to be back in the Indy area. Thought --- hey, I'll go back to my ”old standby”. WHAT A MISTAKE! This place has gone from four to zero! Carpets look like they haven't been cleaned in years! Needs painting in key areas -- breakfast area, elevator, halls, room. Tacky signs hanging at front desk, on pool area door, at at elevator. But... the WORST....There is a sign on a door in the breakfast area ”staff only”. Well... I guess they ”hire young” because a lady walked in to that area with two kids (approx 4 & 6 yrs old). She then came out & helped with breakfast items leaving the kids in the kitchen!! So much for cleanliness in the kitchen area. THEN.... I was told check-out time was 12 noon. At 11 am, there was a loud pounding on my room door. I had the ”do not disturb sign” hanging outside and was just getting in to the shower so I ignored the pounding. That was a mistake --- the lady and her two kids tried to come in to my room!!! The younger girl just looked at me and said, ”Hey lady -- you leaving?” WHAT????? I told the lady I'll be out by noon! and slammed the door! Approximately 11:55 as I was leaving, I noticed the door to the room across the hall was open. Sitting on the bed were those same two girls.... watching TV. Again... so much for cleanliness!!!! Comments re signs... How should I get from the pool to my room without entering the elevator? IF you had staff at the front desk, maybe folks wouldn't walk behind the counter. << There was no one there when I arrived or when I went down for breakfast. Had to ”yell” for someone both times.>> Your sign says you won't enter our rooms... but, you tried to enter mine before I even checked out! I WILL NOT BE BACK.... They can say all they want about ”cleanliness” and ”keeping guests safe” but...... YOUR ACTIONS SPEAK SO LOUDLY I CAN'T BELIEVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOU REALLY DON'T CARE!
Culinary delights graced our mornings at Baymont NW, Indianapolis, where an array of fresh offerings delighted our palates. The immaculate upkeep of our accommodations reflected a meticulous dedication to cleanliness, ensuring a serene and comfortable retreat throughout our stay.
The staff here were very nice. We arrived very late in town for a horseshow over at Danville. I slept there about 5 hours and was gone by 6am. My husband had an issue getting back to Red Roof on time to gather luggage and check out due to a dead truck battery. I was already having a terrible day and I called the sweet lady in office crying in frustration and she was so kind and understanding. The place is not the Ritz but the people working there are lovely and it serves all your basic needs.
I was a bit disappointed; the property wasn't quite as nice as I had expected. Overall it worked ok, but there were a few minor issues. The shower curtain didn't fit in the tub. The conditioner bottle in the shower shot upward instead of out as it was supposed to. The desk chair was very uncomfortable. The HVAC unit didn't seem up to the task of cooling the room; I had it set it to its minimum of 61-degrees to get it to be an acceptable temperature in the low 70s. There is also bright lights illuminating the side of the building; the curtains mostly blocked this out, but it made it hard to know when it was night and when the sun came up.
GGuest UserI have always recommended this hotel to everyone just because of the staff has the most amazing customer service until and I had the opportunity to speak with a general manager who is very very unprofessional but to top it all off the head housekeeper Roberto thought it was unacceptable to talk to me like I was beneath him I was trying to get into the side door to retrieve the rest of my belongings to check out he literally said to me and these are his words per Betim for me to shut the **** up or he would call the police on me who talks to someone like that I have given this Holiday Inn so much money I’ll offer the employees when I go out to buy them dinner I just I’m very respectful and for someone to talk to me like that that is so so unacceptable but if that’s the kind of people they want representing their establishment well then obvious they don’t value their customers. I will say one last thing he would not come outside and talk to me like that he hides behind the building the company so he thinks he can talk to people however he wants to and it’s acceptable when he could’ve stepped outside those doors and talk to me like that … and I am happy to give my name it is Michelle Thompson and I wouldn’t stay there ever again!!
