Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport

We had a room with a couch and a king bed. It was nice but rather crowded in the sitting area. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good with biscuits and gravy, Breakfast sandwiches, cereal. There was a small indoor pool, no hot tub. Bed was comfortable. The room set up is crowded with the couch, table and desk, especially when the bed is made out. Breakfast ended a little earlier than I like. Rather expensive but it was the weekend. No hot tub.

Downtown Indianapolis
Room temperature to me is 72, it was 68 in my room, far too cold for this Floridian’s liking. I wanted ice. No ice on the main floor, the attendant said there is ice on every floor. Fine, I went to my floor, no ice. I went down one floor, no ice, down another floor, no ice, finally on the 4th try, I got ice. $40 for parking is steep but in downtown Indy with a car full of stuff, I had no choice. It worked out well, no issues. God is good. Breakfast is good, hot and fast. Could have used a better muffin selection, bran was the only choice. The valet parking was great. Evan Coffman was nice. The “green” whatever it was provided in the shower for shampoo burned my scalp. I had to get out and rewash with the stuff on the bath counter. Horrible.
Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Northwest

I stayed here for 4 days in late May. It was a bit further out from where I usually stay, but I was not disappointed. The hotel has easy access from the 465, and getting back on to West 86th is a breeze with traffic lights on the next road down from the hotel. I booked a suite and pleased I did as the room was large with a separate sofa room and study/desk. It met my Marriott preferences on a high floor and away from the elevator. The front desk staff were wonderful both at check-in and during my stay. I came in reasonably late one evening and the coffee was only lukewarm, and the girl on reception noticed that and immediately went out the back and replenished it. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Whilst I was only in the room to sleep, I did notice that the room was quite dark especially during the day as the trees on the rear of the property cover the window. Aircon worked well, but I found it better to turn it off during the evening. My room was serviced every 2nd day, and this was fine for me. Breakfasts were fine, and regularly replenished. Whilst Longhorn is just across the road, that restaurant is an absolute wreck and a disgrace to the brand, so I would suggest driving elsewhere or walking a little further to Ted's Montana Grill.
