Hotels in North Point and Quarry Bay, Hong Kong

I have stayed in this hotel many times. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station.Room is large, comfortable and has great view. Shower extremely hot if needed. House-keeping, front desk and cafe staff are excellent, very helpful and friendly. Everything is fine except the following: 1. Facilities and overall decoration are a bit old. Probably time for renovation; 2. Wifi is unstable and very often weak. I need to buy a Sim card to get internet service. This definitely needs upgrading asap. Other than that the hotel is highly recommended.

Hotel staff are efficient, so don’t be too alarmed if they don’t smile back during entire conversation. Bed is always fixed everyday. One staff saved us from going to the unusable pool when we tried to find it. Please do not go to look for it like us as the changing rooms and door that lead to the pool are unkept. The hotel should not advertise the pool anymore until they fix it. + We got new slippers everyday which was appreciated as not all of us brought slippers and bare feet from the carpet to the bed is not ideal. Location was great. A few minutes walk away from the metro and shops available right out the hotel door. Easy to do money exchange and charge octopus card at the 7-11 around the corner. - Fridge isn’t as cold as I would like it to be. Didn’t know where the ventilator switch was for the bathroom, so we just had the A/C on in the room. Gym room is good for 2-4 people, wish they provided sanitary wipes for us to clean the equipment we used since there’s no sign telling us the cleaning schedule.

The view was exceptional. Even though the building itself was under construction (I suppose facade renewal) they gave us room with the best view ever. The hotel is situated at really convenient place, near the subway station and ferry station. The staff at the hotel was benevolent and helpful at most times. Here comes disadvantages. The room is tiny, a bit lazily maintained (the mirrors were dirty and at some unused at most cases places of bathroom it was untidy). But the main thing: in was humid as hell there. The conditioner, left working at lowest possible temperature hardly was making any difference. The bedsheets were almost wet with humidity and TV and mirrors had mist on it at all times. The breakfast was really simple with only a few options. No pancakes or other sweet breakfast were provided (except plain cornflakes). Every 2 rooms has a service door between them so I was crazily surprised when one night, I heard our neighbor trying to enter our room. Although after that the staff changed our room (but humidity never went away). To sum up. The view was worth the money. But if there will be next time we will have a conversation about humid and conditioner work.

It was my first time travelling to hk and this hotel was recommend by my friend. The space is a lot bigger than i expected and the hotel staff were friendly. Location was nice since it was near the paotaishan station. There are a lot of delicious food around. The downside is the room doesnt have good noice cancellation door or what. Sometimes you hear the staff speaking loudly outside at 8-9am which is not favorable if your planning to have a nice good sleep. But overall it was a great experience!

The hotel's location is great, the problem for us is : 1) they don't have a separate control of lighting for the washroom and living room. (I think it will be better to have a curtain or whatever to create the privacy of two rooms) The toilets floor is a bit stinky (I think is because of the cause of the building material ) Not enough drawers for storage (especially for long term staying )

This time around i really enjoyed my trip in Hong Kong. The hotel had excellent service, convenient location a few meters away from the metro. I requested a room on higher floors and got the 30th floor with a lovely view of the bay as requested. I will definitely book my next stay in HK at his hotel. Checking out, Maria was helpful they kept out luggage for us and allowed us to freshen up on the 3rd floor before setting off to the train station. Thank you Harbour Grand Hotel for making my stay awesome.

We booked a 2bdrm apartment with kitchen however there was no stove, no microwave, no plates, bowls not cutlery. The common pantry (shared cooking facilities) is only available to monthly tenants! Our washing machine had no powder sachets and there was no dish washing detergent nor hand soap in bathrooms, we had to waste precious holidaying time with a trip to Wellcome and also but takeaway every single meal (and ask for single use forks and chopsticks) It was beyond annoying. Other than that loved the area right next to wet market. Luckily we only booked for 3 nights. Also, the rooms are not sound proof (as advertised).

Ascott, who has lived in other places, likes this brand. Although this Hong Kong hotel was newly opened last month, it decided to try it with trust in the brand. The room types of the two big bed rooms are living. I thought that the newly opened ones would have a taste, but there was no smell in the room. The room decoration is simple and elegant, clean and hygienic. It was that the shower room was not very good at the time, it may have not paid attention to cleaning, and it was solved later. The front desk service was polite and friendly. Check-in requires a deposit of HKD 1,000. The hotel does not have a charging conversion plug (selling downstairs). The hotel is a bit similar to a residential area around the hotel, not so crowded with so many tourists. It is very convenient to eat. The North Point subway station is only a few minutes away, and there is a North Point Shopping Mall opposite. In short, I like it very much as a whole for your reference. Later, Hong Kong will choose Ascott.

Small room with basic items provided. Chewing tablets provided instead of conventional toothpaste. Fresh water refill and free tea coffee on 3/F lobby. Easy to find location near Fortress Hill MTR. Good for 1 night rest.

This hotel is just ok. Not worth the price and the rooms have mold damage on the walls. If you want hot water you had to discover a switch on the wall. View out the window was dismal. I would stay again because of their location at the right price only. Nothing north of 400HKD
