Environment: Facing the Eiger Mountain, it is very comfortable to have a leisurely dinner on the balcony. When you come down the first hill by scooter, you will pass by this hotel, so it is convenient to go upstairs to put your things down and take a rest. Just be sure to take the bus when you come here with luggage. Although it’s a 20-minute walk, it’s all uphill and it’s super tiring! ! Hygiene: Hygiene is very good. The water from the tap is direct drinking water, both hot and cold. The breakfast is good with a wide variety. There is a bicycle room downstairs.

The hotel is located high up on a hill, offering great views on a clear day. It's also very close to Grindelwald station. Before check-in, the owner emailed me to fill out my personal information in advance, but it was a bit tricky to do, so I figured it would be easier to just fill it out at the front desk when I arrived. However, when I got there, the lady at the front desk was quite displeased and deliberately made me wait for a long time, claiming that if I had completed the online form beforehand, I wouldn't have caused such a delay. All in all, despite that, it's a charming local chalet with beautiful weather and scenery, making for a great experience.

各方面都挺好的我們住了兩晚，酒店就在first山的半山腰Bort這個纜車🚡上下點，其中有個遊樂項目Trottibike的起點就在這裏終點在山腳，我們要在first玩所以定了這個酒店，酒店不大總共10多個房間，房間沒有空調，夏天上半夜有點熱，下半夜就沒問題，冬天有制暖器。如果入住這裏大家一定記得提前在下午五點前check in，因為我們要在山下的小鎮格林德瓦坐纜車上來的，纜車最後一班大概在下午5點-6點，除非是自駕車，不然晚上上來酒店很麻煩。大家如果喜歡安靜且希望窗户直接可以看first景色的話這裏就挺好的，酒店下面吃自助早餐的位置也很好對着雪山，房間價格還行，下山做纜車衹有一站，從Bort到山下十多分鐘。對了酒店旁邊還有個適合小孩玩的小樂園。

The hotel is halfway up the hill, some distance from the Grindelwald center and the train station. The hotel also has a shuttle bus that can be transported. We are self-driving. There is free parking in the hotel. It is relatively close to the cable car station of the first mountain. There are not many types of breakfast at the hotel. But it is enough, the biggest feature is the scenery, so beautiful! Whether it is a room or a place to have breakfast, look out for the snowy mountain, if you come to grindelwald next time, you will stay here!

I ended up booking a hostel bed because it was the only option left, and honestly, I was dreading it beforehand. Little did I know, my 'dream hill' would turn into a 'nightmare hill'! So, I accidentally missed my train in Switzerland (maybe couldn't find it, or got off at the wrong stop), which meant a 30-60 minute delay... and then I missed the hostel's last bus. I thought, '15-minute walk, no big deal, a little uphill is fine.' But it wasn't just a simple uphill, it was an incredibly steep climb! Dragging a 40lb suitcase left me utterly defeated. The front desk guy was busy checking in other guests (yep, only one staff member there), so he couldn't come help me halfway up the mountain until after 10 PM. Big thanks to the Trip.com customer service who kept me company on the phone during that time (it was so quiet on the hillside, not a soul around)... When I finally got to the hostel, I found out it was mixed-gender dorms. First time sharing a room with a bunch of guys, scared me to death! 🤯 The snoring was... well, hilarious haha 😂. Still, I'm grateful. That luggage was seriously heavy; I spent 7 minutes hauling it up the mountain, completely exhausted and burnt out. The next day was my birthday, and the front desk guy, with a bright smile, wished me 'Happy birthday,' as if last night's nightmare had truly just been a dream.

(I had a Jungfrau VIP coupon, so I didn’t use it.) The reasons I cried were: 1) As soon as I arrived, there was no one, so I called and waited for about an hour, but no one answered and didn't come. There were people staying, so I had to wait in the lobby. I had another number on my laptop, so I called, but no one answered. 2) While I was waiting, a man called and asked why I was calling. When I told him I wanted to check in, he said I was fully booked for today, so what did I mean? I told him my reservation number and he said he would understand. Later, he came running in from outside and asked for my passport. Didn't say a single word of apology. (I was very angry here.) Anyway, in conclusion, he said that there was a reservation history on Trip.com but not in his system, so he had me check it and said he would do something about it since there were no rooms available. However, his attitude was not that he was sorry and was trying to do something, but rather that he was annoyed with me. 3) In the end, they gave us our room keys condescendingly, as if they had made it very difficult for us to get a room, and we were very upset that they were sorry for waiting for an hour and that there was no compensation, but we wanted to rest in the room quickly, so we brought the keys up. However, as shown in the picture, they gave me a room without a terrace... Obviously, the room I paid for had a terrace on the reservation screen, and I made the reservation with that in mind, so when I went to argue with them, they said that the room I had reserved was that room. (I was told that it was given to me because I had created a room, but when I went down and inquired, I found out that the room was originally assigned...) 4) Then, while showing a picture of the reservation screen on 'Booking.com', he enthusiastically emphasizes that the room may or may not have a terrace. The problem is that I paid through 'Trip.com' and the room type I booked on Trip.com is not available. All photos showed a terrace. When I said that, he got very angry and told me to cancel it for free and to leave if I didn't like it. To be honest, these words sounded very threatening to me, and I was so intimidated by the man's attitude that I was afraid that he might do something to me. I sometimes wonder if they are speaking in such a threatening manner because I am a woman and Asian. [I notified Booking.com's customer service center of my move, and now the reservation screen for the room I selected also includes a photo of a room without a terrace.] Anyway, for this reason, I started my trip to Switzerland very angry and depressed. ㅠ ㅠ This room does not have a terrace and has a tree view, as someone left in a Google review... lol Next time I go again, I think I'll just choose the room one level up because I'm worried about getting this room. Also, the toilet and bathroom were attached together, so it was shared by 3 rooms. Please note.

Switzerland is really beautiful to live in Grindelwald. This hotel apartment is generally ordinary, but the scenery is really beautiful. If you want to live in the mountains, you need to choose what traffic is. Going to the center to shop needs to take the bus. It takes only a few minutes to take the bus. If you choose to walk for about 20 minutes, it will be very dry. The hotel can cook things but there is no range hood, so we can do it on the balcony, otherwise the whole room will smell of oily smoke. But watching the beautiful scenery cook and eat is also a special experience. It is worth coming once in a lifetime! But let me go for the second time, I will choose to live in interlaken or Tuen, young people are suitable for going to places with many people, and Greendwa is enough to go back and forth on the same day alone. Staying for 7 days is a bit boring
