It was a lovely tour with a knowledgeable guide who enjoyed sharing snippets of Greek mythology with the group. We appreciated the brief stop at one of the Aegean beaches with fresh sea breeze and cooling sea water as the coach ride was very warm. The audio guide provided when we arrived at Cape Sounion was interesting. The location activation for the guide wasn't working that well, but not a big issue as you can select the individual segment manually. We had an amazing sunset against the backdrop of the Temple of Poseidon so all in all a good trip. Our only gripe is with the air conditioning in the coach. It started off ok (not cooling effectively but tolerable), however 10 minutes into the ride one passenger requested for the air circulation to be turned down. The rest of the coach ride was very warm and most passengers were peeling off their layers as we rode along. We were thankful for the brief stop at the beach to cool down slightly otherwise the ride would have been unbearable.

The person who guided us before we boarded the bus was very polite, and we didn't have a single unpleasant experience after boarding. The tour guide was also very kind. However, their accent was quite strong, and their English was not easy to understand. Nevertheless, the guide was smiling and charming throughout, so it was all good.

Overall it is definitely not cheap, but you can travel on trains around Europe as many times as you want during the period, flexible and convenient, especially for last minute travelers. Keep in mind in countries like Spain, Italy and France, the reservation fee is expensive and can add up quickly, so you need to plan ahead. Also, in most countries, the app cannot be used in the tickets gates automatically, and must seek help from staff. Hope they can improve it.


