Stackpole Quay

Stackpole Quay is a tiny, picturesque harbour and coastal hamlet on the Stackpole Estate in Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Wales, UK. Owned and managed by the National Trust, it is best known as the gateway to Barafundle Bay — one of the most photographed beaches in Britain — and as a starting point for walks through woodland, limestone cliffs, and the famous Bosherston Lily Ponds. A working quay used by local fishermen and pleasure craft, it sits at a dramatic geological boundary: red Devonian Old Red Sandstone cliffs to the northeast, and the grey Carboniferous Limestone of the Castlemartin Peninsula to the southwest.
