We traveled to Songhuahu with another American expat family. Booked 4 rooms for two families with 7 kids and two adults. It was tight but that was expected. Xiaohui got us extra bed and blankets so everything worked out for sleeping. Only a 5 minute walk to the ski shop for rentals and then a 2 minute shuttle to the base of the slopes. This is an awesome skii experience for families. (But this region doesn’t have many English speakers so you’ll need to be able to speak Chinese or use translation software or have a translator) For this price you can’t beat this place. We came to play and ski, not hang out in the room. 😆. Breakfast was awesome if you like Chinese style buns, noodles, rice, eggs etc. Lunch and dinner options are plentiful and surprisingly affordable (US$5-10) and there are some descent beers to be found. The resort was designed by a Japanese firm so its well thought out. Bunny slopes are to the left and greens at the base. Blues are good and weave in and out of the greens if you want. There’s a separate section for blues and another for blacks with its own lift for the dads. (If you’re into double black’s you’ll Be disappointed but we were having fun with the blacks and wooded sections) there are sections for jumps too. Great variety for 3 day family skiing. The lifts even have windshields and there’s a gondola to the top. Restaurant at the top can get you a bowl of noodles for only US$5 or hit chocolate for 3. Medical care was efficient and cheap too, and the park fee comes with insurance. Don’t ask how we know. Haha. The best thing was the service from Xiaohui. We literally didn’t have to think about anything- tickets, lessons, gear. Price was market price for the season but so so easy. One of our best vacations ever. Good place for a variety of skier levels and not too crowded even at peak season.

We travel by train from Baisan Station, take a taxi for 10 minutes, 20CHY. The resort is on the riverside. The rooms are new and clean. When you get there, you have to set the water heater to warm before taking a shower. They have a simple local breakfast. We stayed here for 2 nights. In the morning I had a sore throat and a cough. The host was very kind and helped take us to the drug store in town. In the morning we took us to rafting. In the afternoon there was a walk in the nearby Birch Forest. We returned in the morning. The host prepared a car to send us off. The host and staff were warm and very helpful. Although we cannot communicate in Chinese

We stayed here on New Years Eve for 1 night in the suite and were happy with our choice. The room was spacious, modern, spotless, and the general layout of the rooms was nice in that the bathroom and bedroom were far apart. (The bathroom has a solid door and the shower is separated, which we always appreciate.) At first as foreigners we were told by the staff we couldn't stay there (even though they accepted our booking with our foreign passports), but the manager stepped in and was so helpful and apologetic. He could speak English and politely explained the situation, then spoke to the local police to sort everything out. He also gave us an ice bucket for our ice cream delivery later, and helped me to look for a pair of glasses I thought I left in the room after we left -- so friendly and professional! There's very little parking, but they have an attendant help fit everyone's cars in. Our only suggestions would be for the room set up: a couch would be much cozier in the living room area, or alternatively the TV should maybe go in the bedroom. A door or curtain for the bedroom could also help block out light. Overall a great stay though! And from a lot of searching on ctrip, seems like one of the nicest options in downtown!

Me and my partner were staying in this inn during the Spring Break. It's a nice little place, and we liked our room a lot. But positive impression was spoiled by the indifferent attitude of the staff. It took them over 30minutes to organize a car from the reception to our room (5min by walk). We missed our breakfast, because no one could inform us about the time when it finishes. When we asked about it, the lady said - 7 o'clock start, when we came to the reception at 9:40am, they said that breakfast finishes at 9am, and there is nothing they can do. And 9 o'clock is really way too early to finish breakfast as it takes long time to get dressed and to get to the reception in the morning. The internet wasn't working in the room and although we asked the reception to help us, there was no cooperation from their side. We also had to ask them to bring the rubbish out, as it wasn't done after the first night. Overall, it's a lovely inn, but we didn't feel welcome there, as the staff hasn't tried once to show support and cooperation.

We added the manager on Wechat and he was so helpful and attentive. Service was great. Room was warm and clean. We arrived late on the first night and asked for dinner recommendations. He checked our food preferences, called ahead and sent a car to take us to a good restaurant! Breakfast is nice and right next to the ski service center. He helped with tickets and transport for our whole trip. Would definitely stay again!

The newly opened hotel has no smell, but the internal environment and facilities are very good. There is an unlimited supply of Nongfu Spring in the elevator. The electric kettle is also very user-friendly. A bottle of water is just enough to boil a pot. There are also fruit lollipops and drinks in the lobby, and they are also specially provided. Toiletries for two children. The children especially like the bear towels. What I especially want to say is that the breakfast is very good, with a complete range of varieties and high quality. The location is also relatively good. It is very close to the North Scenic Area and has free parking. The only drawback is Erdaobaihe Town. The homestay is located near the Folk Garden! Take a taxi for a few minutes! It takes only ten minutes to get to the net red wall! Still very convenient! The room has two large beds, clean and tidy, disposable towels and bath towels are very like, the outdoor snow scene is also very beautiful, and there is a cafe to drink coffee! Very considerate front desk, although it seemed a little confused (laugh) When I booked the room the night before, I specifically called the front desk to ask if I could store my luggage in the morning (because we rushed from the north slope to try to climb the earliest west slope). The front desk said that if there was a room, we could put it directly in the room, so we happily left our luggage and climbed the mountain - after all, the hotel is really close to the distribution center, and it is not an exaggeration to turn left when you go out. There are rich breakfast options downstairs, and the food street next door is also very convenient. There is no problem with the room except the carpet (maybe the carpet is really difficult to clean) The bed is very soft, good reviews. I checked out early the next morning, but the front desk called me in the afternoon to remind me to check out. I and the other side were quite confused (laugh)
