Sotomayor Square, backed by the Cordillera hills and facing the Prat Pier, is the city's main civic square. In the center of the square stands the Monument to the Heroes of Iquique, topped by a statue of Chilean naval hero Arturo Prat. Beneath the monument lie the remains of the Chilean soldiers who died in the 1879 Battle of Iquique. Guarded year-round by sentries, it is the square's iconic landmark. The square is surrounded by historic buildings from various periods. On the side facing the hills is the Chilean Navy Headquarters, an eclectic Neo-Renaissance building that originally served as the Valparaiso regional government office. On the east side stands the headquarters of the Valparaiso Fire Department, where Chile's tradition of volunteer firefighting began. Beneath the square, the ruins of an early Valparaiso pier are preserved. I think this is the most beautiful square I have seen in this country. It has very beautiful buildings, statues, and lawns. It feels very majestic. If you come here at night, there will be some lighting effects, which are quite beautiful.

This is the most attractive place for tourists in Valparaiso. There are all kinds of graffiti on the walls of the houses. Although they are just graffiti, you can see that these pictures are ingeniously conceived and beautifully painted. They are really pieces of art.

The Naval Building is located in the Plaza Sotomayor in Valparaiso. It is a very gorgeous building. There are many local attractions near the Naval Building, such as the Hero's Monument and the Court.

It feels like a really nice small garden to live in. I really like this staggered layout. It feels really beautiful and warm. I hope they were not damaged in the Chilean riots, otherwise it would be a pity!
