Sanniang Bay

Sanniang Bay is located on the southern coast of Qinzhou, a tranquil and beautiful small fishing village. Its famous attraction is the Chinese white dolphins inhabiting the nearby waters, though spotting them requires some luck. Beyond dolphin watching, the simple fishing village life here is also appealing. Whether strolling on the beach, foraging at low tide, or enjoying the peaceful coastal life, this is a perfect leisure destination. Most travelers come from downtown Qinzhou for recreation, with two main options. One is a round-trip day visit to enjoy the beach and rocky shores, then take a speedboat to spot dolphins before returning, taking about half a day. The other option involves a longer stay at the attraction, where travelers can lodge in fishermen-run homestays, savor fresh seafood, relax on the beach, and experience the tranquil coastal fishing village life for a leisurely getaway. Spring and fall are good times to see dolphins, with a higher chance of spotting them. They can occasionally be seen on the beach, but the better way is to take a boat trip. The attraction offers speedboating or fishing boat tours for dolphin watching, though no method guarantees a sighting. After sailing a certain distance from the coast, you will reach the habitat of the Chinese white dolphin. Sometimes you can spot these beautiful dolphins leaping out of the water. Adult white dolphins are mostly white and pink, while calves have darker skin tones. They are extremely precious, and the photos taken of them are utterly adorable. Many hammocks are hung among the trees on the beach of Sanniang Bay, where travelers can relax and enjoy the serene coolness of the seaside. There are also several large rocks by the shore, such as Sanniang Rock and Sea Mother Rock, where you can climb the reefs and take photos with the sea. In addition, the seafood in the fishing village is very fresh and worth trying.Qinzhou · 42.2km from downtown

The Guanglv Sanniang Bay project is located in the Sanniang Bay Scenic Area in Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is one of the important habitats of the Chinese white dolphin and is therefore known as the hometown of the Chinese white dolphin. The Chinese white dolphin is a protected animal in my country and is known as the "Giant Panda of the Sea". The Sanniang Bay Scenic Area not only has rich natural resources, but also has a scientific research team led by Professor Pan, who has been dedicated to the research and protection of the Chinese white dolphins in Sanniang Bay for more than 20 years. In the Beibu Gulf, the population of Chinese white dolphins has increased from less than 100 in 2004 to more than 300, making it the only population among the four major populations that is increasing in number. In addition, the white dolphins in the Beibu Gulf are significantly different from other populations along the Chinese coast, including body color, dorsal ridges, skull and other body shapes, and have some unique genotypes that only exist in this population.Qinzhou · 43.3km from downtown

Qinzhou Old Street Scenic Area

4.3/5

Qinzhou Old Street Scenic Area is a collective term for the surviving ancient-to-modern old streets in Qinzhou. The district stretches along the west bank of the Qinzhou River and consists of four main streets—Chengnai Street (Song Dynasty), Zhulan Street (Ming and Qing Dynasties), Zhan'ao Alley (Qing Dynasty), and Zhongshan Road (first half of the 20th century)—along with surrounding traditional alleys. The history of these streets and alleys spans from the Song Dynasty to the first half of the 20th century. Walking into the district is like flipping through the street archives of this ancient Lingnan city in chronological order. The core attractions are concentrated on the Zhongshan Road arcade street: this complex of arcades, which features a fusion of Chinese and Western styles and was first built in 1934, was long the commercial center of Qinzhou. The carved wooden windows, brick-carved plaques, and arcade facades have been preserved to this day. Taking photos when the afternoon light slants through the arcades offers a strong sense of vintage nostalgia. The old street is also dotted with the "Sanxuantang" (Former Residence of National Hero Liu Yongfu), the Guangzhou Guild Hall built during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, the ruins of the Song Dynasty city wall, and the Pingnan Ancient Ferry. The Qing Dynasty alley, Zhan'ao Alley, features mottled red walls and winding stone paths. Inside the alley, the Former Residence of Su Tingyou boasts grey tiles, plain walls, and arched corridors, blending Chinese and Western styles. Hidden deep in the alley are artistic shops and cafes, perfect for a leisurely stroll and taking photos. The entire district can be explored on foot. It is recommended to set aside half a day, starting from either the Former Residence of Liu Yongfu or the Guangzhou Guild Hall, and strolling along the main street in one direction without backtracking. When tired, you can take a break and read at the Qinzhou Bookstore, or enjoy a bowl of beef brisket noodles or Qinzhou sweet soup with your choice of toppings. In the evening, head to the riverside at the Pingnan Ancient Ferry to catch the breeze and watch the sunset, wrapping up your itinerary.Qinzhou · 4.9km from downtown

San Niang Bay International Dolphin Park is located in Xiniu Jiao Town, Qinnan District, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province. Known as the "Hometown of the Chinese White Dolphin," it is an ecological haven that blends pristine coastal scenery with rare marine creatures. The natural environment here is exceptional; the clear seawater sparkles under the sunlight, and the nearshore area is only 2-10 meters deep, allowing glimpses of fish and corals on the seabed. Moreover, it is a coastal ecological area for regular observation of Chinese white dolphins. Visitors can take compliant ecological boats and have a high chance of witnessing the agile figures of these "sea pandas." They sometimes leap out of the water, shimmering like pearls in the sunlight, and sometimes swim in pairs, chasing the waves behind the boats—a truly therapeutic scene. Besides dolphin watching, visitors can also stroll along the rocky boardwalk, enjoying the magnificent spectacle of the ebb and flow of the tides. In the evening, they can wait on the beach for the sunset, watching the evening glow paint the sea red.Qinzhou · 41.1km from downtown

San Niang Bay is a low-key yet stunning national AAAA-level scenic area in Guangxi, renowned as the "Hometown of the Chinese White Dolphin." Here, azure seas and golden sands abound, uniquely shaped rocks abound, and the original fishing village exudes charm, blending culture and nature seamlessly. The highlight is the opportunity to take a speedboat out to sea for a chance to encounter the rare Chinese white dolphins; with luck, you might even spot a dreamy pink one. The sand is fine, the water clear, and at low tide, you can go beachcombing and collect shells. The Tianya Stone and San Niang Stone offer incredibly photogenic views. The area is not heavily commercialized, and the seafood is fresh and affordable, making it ideal for leisure vacations, family trips, and dolphin watching—a hidden gem in the Beibu Gulf for secluded seaside experiences.

Tickets were issued quickly, and the seller was quite trustworthy. The weather wasn't great today; the waves were a bit high, making it difficult to see dolphins. It took us almost an hour to finally find them, and we even had to stop for a while before heading back. They were really honest.

It's definitely worth a visit. The scenery is beautiful, and the air is rich in negative ions. I especially loved the part where we walked through the bamboo forest. The longest route takes 7-8 hours, but the water was absolutely crystal clear and stunning.

Xili Bay is very close to Rhino Horn Foot. It is an arc-shaped natural beach where you can walk on the waves, listen to the sea and watch the sunset, swing in the Masson Pine Forest, and go to the beach to catch the sea when the tide is low. It is very suitable for weekends and holidays. Although this is also a place where you can swim, it is not officially protected or advocated, so be careful when entering the water!

A very good 4A-level scenic spot, lush forests, strange rocks and meadows on the mountains, constitute a beautiful scenery, and the ecological protection is quite good, monkeys can appear in groups, cattle and sheep also bow their heads to eat grass on the mountains, this natural picture is also enough for tourists to appreciate slowly. Very cost-effective.

This is the most interesting place among the former residences of modern and contemporary celebrities in China, because most of the former residences of modern and contemporary celebrities in China only have old furniture, clothing, daily necessities, or mannequins. Important points①Prince Shirakawa-no-Yoshihisa, who was said to have been killed by Liu Yongfu, was supported by the O-U-Etsu clan as Emperor Tobu during the Meiji Restoration in Japan. During the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, he was the lieutenant general commander of the Imperial Guard Division and the designated commander of the attack on Taiwan. The cause of death is difficult to verify due to the long time. Among the three different statements (killed in battle, injured by shells, died of illness, died of illness), the second possibility is widely recognized.
