Guangwu Mountain Tourist Area is located in the northern part of Nanjiang, Bazhong, Sichuan, in the heart of the Micang Mountains at the border of Sichuan and Shaanxi, sitting on the climate divide between northern and southern China. Its unique geography and climate have created a remarkable karst ridge-and-peak-cluster landscape, combining five superlatives: wondrous mountains, grotesque rocks, secluded valleys, elegant waters, and precipitous peaks. The Jiaojia River winds through it, with peak clusters rising sheer on both banks, and views such as Swallow Rock, Seven Maidens Peak, Longjia Yanyun, and Taiji Tiankeng each possessing their own distinctive charm. The scenery varies across the four seasons—enjoy azaleas in spring, cool breezes in summer, red leaves in fall, and rime in winter, with the red leaves being especially renowned. In golden October, the mountains are covered in red, and the layered forests are dyed in brilliant colors; the leaves shift gradually from blue and green to yellow, orange, and red, with a rich variety of species and a viewing period of up to one month. The attraction features a large expanse of ancient Fagus pashanica forest—a fossil plant identified and named by the Royal Society of the United Kingdom—whose distribution is concentrated globally. It also boasts a profound cultural heritage. The Micang Ancient Road, together with the Jinniu Road and the Lizhi Road, is known as one of China's three great ancient Shu roads, running north-south through the attraction. Historical tales such as Xiao He chasing Han Xin under the moonlight, Zhuge Liang feeding his horses at Muyang City, and Zhang Fei setting up camp at Luoqi Mountain all took place here. The Bashan Bei'er Song has been sung among the people for thousands of years and is listed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage. This area was also once the center of the Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base, where the Bashan Guerrilla Force left behind moving red memories. After nightfall, the large-scale immersive landscape night tour "Dreamland of Guangwu Mountain" integrates Ba culture, the Micang Ancient Road, and the natural landscape. With the help of light-and-shadow technologies such as glasses-free 3D, mist imaging, and AR interaction, it unfolds four chapters and seven scenes along the tour route from the attraction entrance to Lianghekou, allowing visitors to immersively experience the legends of Bashan in the night.

Micangshan National Forest Park is located in the north of Nanjiang County on the northeast edge of the Sichuan Basin, at the southern foot of Micangshan. The park consists of three scenic spots: Mouyang City, Shibayuetan Lake, and Wanzi Mountain. There are more than 80 scenic spots in total, including more than 70 natural landscapes and more than 10 cultural landscapes. The natural ecological environment of Micangshan National Forest Park is unique and strange, and the primitive charm still exists. There are dense forests in the park and its surrounding areas, more than 80% of which are natural forests. The forest sea is vast and magnificent. The forest in the park is rich in seasons and has high ornamental value. In spring, it is brilliant and gorgeous, and the flowering tree species include rhododendron, magnolia, gardenia, and winter jasmine. The Eighteen Moon Lake Attraction is located in the southwest of Micangshan National Forest Park, 53 kilometers from Nanjiang County via Yangba Town, and 54 kilometers from Taoyuan via Jiujiao Mountain. The Attraction covers an area of 9,950 hectares, of which 5,150 hectares are scenic viewing areas. The Eighteen Moon Lake is located in the Pearl Valley, about 3 kilometers northeast of the Dajiangkou Forest Farm. In the Pearl Valley, which is about 3.5 kilometers long, there are 18 fairy pools. Going up the Pearl Valley, the 18 waterfall pools are Mengyuetan, Wangyuetan, Runyuetan, Xiuyuetan, Cuiyuetan, Juyuetan, Zhaoyuetan, Fengyuetan, Laoyuetan, Zuiyuetan, Zhenyuetan, Xinyuetan, Naoyuetan, Jingyuetan, Yinyuetan, Suiyuetan, and Siyuetan, just like an eighteen-year-old girl, lying shyly in the beautiful mountains, green forests and deep streams. Eighteen Moon Lake Waterfall Group Eighteen Moon Lake is famous for its clear water, unique rocks and beautiful scenery. The first thing that comes into view when entering the scenic area is the Wedding Dress Waterfall, which is more than 50 meters high. From a distance, it looks like a silver wedding dress, hence the name Wedding Dress Waterfall. Traveling upstream, you will reach the famous Zhaogongtan in the Eighteen Moon Lake. Zhaogongtan has an area of about 100 square meters, surrounded by pine trees and iron sandalwood, and is primitive and simple. In March 1940, Zhao Mingen, the battalion commander of the Bashan guerrillas, was killed while drinking water here. In order to commemorate him, people named this pond "Zhaogongtan". There are many well-known and unknown pools in the Shibayuetan Attraction, including the Five Color Pool, Golden Turtle Pool, Lover Pool, and Prodigy Pool. Xiaowu Gorge, a wonder in Sichuan, is located 26 kilometers east of Nanjiang County, Bazhong, Sichuan, at the junction of Sichuan and Shaanxi, and 6 kilometers from Ganchang Town. It is one of the five major areas of Guangwu Mountain National Key Scenic Area. The Attraction integrates strange gorges, beautiful caves, majestic peaks, strange rocks, lakes and sea of clouds. The developed ones include Tongtian Cave (also known as Wucai Cave), Chuanhua Cave, and Xiaoyao Cave. More than 20 caves have been discovered, including Yuejia Cave, Yangyu Cave, Jingdong Cave, Shuanglong Cave, Monkey Cave, and Feiyun Cave. The caves they constitute have a peculiar structure, with caves inside and outside the caves. Stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers, and stone curtains are scattered throughout the caves, crisscrossing, with a myriad of scenes, dazzling, anthropomorphic, and vivid. The magic and weirdness of nature constitute a natural picture scroll. It is a karst resource library with huge scale, peculiar shapes, concentrated caves, and interdependent canyons and caves. I felt that going on November 2nd this year was a bit late. The leaves in the Natural Gallery had already mostly fallen, and there were hardly any red leaves to see in Xianglu Mountain. Only Black Bear Valley and Da Xiao Lan Valley were worth seeing.
