Royal British Legion National Remembrance Gardens is an important public memorial park dedicated to remembrance and commemoration. It is part of the Royal British Legion and, since opening to the public in 2001, has gradually become a national site of remembrance for the United Kingdom. The park is expansive and planted with tens of thousands of trees, each of which may be associated with a memory, a deceased person, or a specific group. Beyond the natural views, the park features over 400 memorials covering the armed forces, emergency services, charities, and social groups. The core structure is the Armed Forces Memorial, which is surrounded by stone walls that record the names of service personnel who died in the line of duty through carvings and inscriptions. Every year at special moments, such as Remembrance Day in November, light shines through a specific point to illuminate the inscriptions on the memorial wall, symbolizing eternal protection and remembrance.Lichfield District · 8.5km from Lichfield

Cadbury World of Chocolate is one of Birmingham's larger leisure tourist attractions, where you can learn about the history of the Cadbury Company, relive classic Cadbury commercials from decades past, and even visit the chocolate production line to see how it's made. In the pavilion, you can also see artworks made of chocolate, such as high heels, crowns, animal models, etc., which are very delicate and have the feeling of "Charlie's Chocolate Factory". It is especially suitable for bringing children to play here. You can take a very interesting chocolate tunnel tour bus and watch 4D movies. There are often chocolate delivery sessions along the way, you can eat while playing, and you will also receive a cup of fresh hot chocolate before the end of the tour.Birmingham · 28.9km from Lichfield

It was a great experience! We went on a Saturday, and there was a slight queue, but we only waited about five minutes to get in. Inside, you can learn about the history of chocolate, the origins of coffee beans, the chocolate production process, and some interesting facts. Several parts were particularly fun. First, there was a movie about Cadbury's history and development. You went into one theater and watched the movie before moving on to the next. Next was a 4D movie where you experienced the world of chocolate with glasses. Finally, you rode in a toy car and used a laser gun to fight monsters. Another attractive part was the tour of the chocolate-making process, where you could even try it yourself. The free tasting included three different toppings to add to the chocolate sauce – very delicious! The shopping area at the end was also nice. Oh, and they gave out a few free chocolates at the entrance, which my child loved. It was a truly great experience! 😊😊😊

We made a dedicated trip and had a lovely few hours. There was lots to see with split levels that kept your interest. The penguins were nice, the octopus made an appearance and we would have loved to see more of the otters., we see the otters.. There is plenty to see, read and touch. My grand daughter loved it all, the turtle in the tunnel is beautiful . It was clean, and we had a great time, would definitely go back, staff were helpful, its really nice and deserve to be visited again and again.
