I purchased it in advance in Japan and was able to easily install it by scanning the QR code on the day of departure. Because it's a Hong Kong phone company, chatGPT wasn't available. (It works if you connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi.) However, LINE, Google Maps, Chrome, and other apps worked without any issues. There was one time when I lost data, but this was fixed after restarting my device. I had good reception in both Bangkok and Pattaya, so I had no problems.★

Bangkok and Phuket sibeh crowded, sometimes the Wi-Fi will spin like sotong kena goreng. But if go ulu places with fewer people, the connection damn fast one.★

Getting an e-SIM is a great option. I downloaded the QR code in advance and activated it while I had time at the airport. I'm instantly connected upon arrival in Thailand. No need to rush out to get a SIM card.★
