I was in a hurry to get to Umeda, so I chose the Haruka train, which is direct. I used an e-ticket, which I registered on the JR West website and entered by pasting my ticket number. After immigration, I simply selected a reserved seat according to my time, which was very convenient. To board the train, I went up to the second floor after immigration to the tram platform. I entered through the JR gate and queued for the ground-level Haruka carriage.★

Buying through Ctrip was very convenient, and the prices were more affordable than other places during promotions. We exchanged our tickets for reserved seats at the airport and then used our 5-day wide-area pass to visit the Honshu region, which we had never been to before. We also rode the adorable panda-themed train – a fantastic experience!★

I traveled from Kansai Airport to Tennoji, and at the airport, if I changed my ticket through a staff member, they assigned me a reserved seat for free. They did this twice... On the return trip from Tennoji to the airport, they gave me a non-reserved seat... It is convenient because I could change tickets easily.★

After exchanging my currency at Kansai Airport, I took the HARUKA train directly to Shin-Osaka, then transferred to the NOZOMI train to Kokura to begin my journey. From there, I took the Sanyo Shinkansen and limited express trains back to Osaka, making it incredibly cost-effective.★
